    Worst experience ever.

Went in to get my tongue web pierced and had it done by Tara because she's had "15 years of experience" and the younger piercer celeste probably just ended her apprenticeship so she wasn't experienced enough to do it. That was fine and well. However, i left the shop a bit on edge but still happy that i had my new piercing.I noticed it was a little crooked but it didn't bother me so much.

About a month later i notice skin literally growing over the bar and i knew that wasn't normal so i went in to have it checked out. Online and on their facebook it says they open at 12:00pm. I arrived at about 12:08pm to a dark and empty shop that was still closed. I waited about 25 minutes until an employee strolled in to open the door only to be told that their piercer doesn't come in until two. I came back at two and the less experienced "piercer" was there and she took a picture and told me to come back some time in that week.

I came back the next day and tara told me the reason that my piercing was like that was because i wasn't cleaning it (which i was) and she was gonna take it out and clean it. The younger piercer was especially rude when i told her i was cleaning my piercing she literally said "no you aren't." When she was about to take it out she said that nothing was wrong with it it's healed but i had just tore the skin, to rinse it after every meal for two weeks. (so she left the piercing in). .

Right after I left i went to orlando tattoo company and received a completely different review, one that made more sense. The reason the skin was growing over it  was because it was pierced crooked and that side that was deeper kept rubbing into my skin so the skin was pushing it out. If there was an actual "tear" like how tara said it was the skin around it would be WHITE because the body would be trying to repair it. I ended up having to take it out with really pisses me off. AND i would've gotten a cheaper and better piercing AND way better customer service if i went to orlando tattoo company.

Don't believe what they have on their Facebook either because i wrote a "bad" review and they deleted it, which explains why they only have two five star reviews. This store is unprofessional on so many levels. They should start by getting to work on time, and understanding that they're a BUSINESS and maybe they should act a little more professional. I could honestly go on, but i'm just gonna leave it at that.

ok, so we've all done it (probably not). You're 18, you're itching for a tattoo, you drive into the first shop you see and mark yourself with something that's SUPER COOL till you hit 21.
Right? Ok, not everyone, but some. C'mon, we all do something crazy, this was mine.
So I was stuck with this heavy handed ugly looking thing till I got sick enough to go see Tara at Chrome Lotus to see if she could do anything with it.
WOW! She covered this ugly old black lined piece of garbage with a gorgeous, colorful Alice in Wonderland piece that she lied out PERFECTLY to fit over the old tattoo in a way that made the old one almost completely invisible. If you didn't know there was a tattoo under it, you would never guess. All the pieces fit together perfectly like a Tetris game and made that old thing disappear completely.
Every artist I've ever glanced over at in the shop is talented, experienced and obviously love what they do.
I never feel ripped off when I go there as you may often feel at other shops and I'm always satisfied with the quality of work I receive.
If you're looking for some good ink, definitely come by. You won't be disappointed with the work or the price.
