I don't even think I can properly say how happy I am that we found 13 Studio. Â My husband had his arm work finished off by Bruce last year and it looks great. Â So now it was finally my turn for my next tattoo.
Bruce created a fantastic piece of art simply based on me saying that I wanted some fireweed (a flower from Alaska that he has never seen). Â I was already looking forward to having the piece done, but when I went in and saw the art that Bruce came up with I was beyond excited. Â The piece came out fantastically, and I am already looking forward to going in to add on to it.
Aside from the great art that is created in this studio, it's also a comfortable place to be. Â The space is clean, open and uncluttered. Â Plus they play some awesome Pandora stations! Â I would gladly recommend anyone who wants a great piece of art done to go see the guys at 13 Studio.
So it took me weeks to find the right tattoo shop and artist for the design I wanted to do considering it was my first tattoo and all. I came upon 13 Studio and one of their artist, Santos. The guy's work is amazing as you can tell he enjoys doing designs that involve much detail which is where my design fit exactly. The process was very smooth and before I knew it, I was in the chair getting my tattoo done and five hours later already all complete.
I strongly recommend 13 studio and if you're looking for an artist that can do detail and is awesome to talk to, I would reccommend Santos.
I am looking to get a tattoo and I am getting my first one, after going to talk to a buddy of my brothers I wanted to check out the competition but I was reading that most tattoo artist charge $125-150 hr I was optimistic about wanting to stop in here knowing I was probably going to have to spend a lot of money, well I was right for the tattoo I wanted I was going to have to spend $700 bucks here while another guy would do it for $350 and this is a 6-7 hour job.
Needless to say the shop look empty and only one girl was getting her tattoo done, the cool thing about this place was that they have a nice bike by the entrance but parking here is hard so you have to go to the back and park in the back of the building and go in thru there back entrance. The guy that I talked to did not seem to interested in negotiating the price so I just left.
The reviews of this place might be great but do your homework before you pay and arm and a leg for a tattoo.
I really like the job the Chino was done on me, I had a half sleeve koi fish but it did it somewhere esle was not at 13 studio but the job was not that great. So i stop by 13 studio and Chino Hoang was help me out to fill in the missing spots, I should have come here in the first place. I will come back to see him to finish the job. If you want traditional japanese style this is the place you should go.....
Review Source:Lance is by far one of the best artists in Orlando. I have been a client for many years will continue to be for many more. He possesses so many ideas, and skills. Bring your vision and they can produce it in a artistic, original way. Â The shop itself is open and clean. It's not like most shops in Orlando that are too closed in, or stuffy. The creativity in the shop is inspiring and fresh. Â They don't steer customers in the wrong direction and make sure they're leaving with the best possible tattoo for life.

Because they are just that good.
My husband has been going to Lance for ages. Ages, I tell you! And I have a rib piece done by Lance as well. (It didn't really hurt. The wrist area is worse in my opinion.) Lance is the coolest, most down-to-earth artist. We love his work - it is always precise, flamboyant in color (if you're into that), and perfectly executed. Tattoos that he did years ago for us still look the same.
We haven't had any work done by Bruce, but he is obviously crazy-talented and the nicest guy. The other artists there are superb I'm sure. Plus the studio has an open-feel and it's so classy clean. You just want to hang out there all day. And depending on the work you're getting done, you might just have to.

P.S. Cleanest bathroom ever in a tattoo shop. Just had to throw that in because that kind of stuff matters to me. There's even a chair to put your purse on or just sit on if you feel like it. Well okay, the chair is kind of a mystery, but a nice touch. :)
P.P.S. If you are going to be there a while, you can park freely behind the shop. Turn on Mills and go down the first brick street after the 7-11. You'll see the back entrance to the shop marked with a "13" sign and a couple of spaces just for you.
i have seen many artists in town and i think red 13 studio crew are top 4 in orlando. everyone are dedicated and professional artists and provide astonishing drawing. Bruce is hand down, one of the best and only i believe his works.

Bruce and Lance are my favorite artists in town. The attention to detail is unbelievable. This new studio on the corner of Colonial and Mills is unlike any other tattoo place. The gallery type setting provides a different experience for everyone. There is no flash on the wall only the paintings the artists produce onsite. ALL CUSTOM WORK! I highly recommend everyone to stop by and say hi to the staff, hang out and find your next tattoo. Â You can call make an appointment or just stop by.

Bruce is hands down one of the best tattoo artists in Orlando, FL. I have several works from him on both my arms. I was thrilled to find out he opened his own tattoo shop.
If you have an idea or concept he can bring it to life for you. He will interpret it in his own artistic way too which gives it his signature style. He will sketch it out and if you like what he came up with then he goes from there.
