723 Tattoo

I just called for a consultation and estimate. No one picked up the phone. I was immediately texted and told not to leave a voicemail; when I texted asking about a possible estimate and consultation, I was told he was booked through December.

What exactly the point in having a Yelp page for your business is when you're booked for the next 9 months is, I will never know. They should have that in their business information or their main picture or something, instead of tricking people into thinking that we can actually get ink here.

Came in here with a friend around September of 2009 looking to get suggestions/pricing for my second tattoo! Was a little at hesitant at first but the owner was very sweet and even helped me get the final design down! Actually offered me a VERY good price so I had to take it! He's very clean and insightful! (Apparently his father in law is a dermatologist? Something like that!) Friend also ended up getting a tattoo also that day! Is very quick and clean and assures comfort!

Oh he's also very polite on the phone for I called a few months back asking of they did finger tattoos! (Apparently he does not recommend it! Another plus for being so honest!)

By far - the best ink shop I've been to so far (compared to others in both Northern and Southern California) and most definitely the best in the OC..I don't know how any of the other ink shops in Fullerton can survive with 723 around the corner.

As I walked in, the set up/decor alone almost sealed the deal and it only got better - the award-winning owner, Jason Greenfield, was not only friendly and considerate but extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of inking: from a medical...social....and artistic standpoint - he answered every question I had before I had a chance to ask any of them.  

From shading/lighting....placement....to possible future distortions...and how to tie in the new art with the pre-existing on your uniquely shaped body, Jason was on point - his ideas and suggestions were far more deeply thought than my own original ideas.  

I'm very happy with the work on my side and am definitely going back to this place for all my future work.  

If you guys haven't checked this place out - you're either 1.) definitely missing out or 2.) have (a lot of) f*ed up work.

p.s. here's the icing on the cake:  this place is extremely clean.... can't help but to thank God for obsessive-compulsive disorder for situations like this.
