I don't like the bad reviews that people passing by the shop have written about David (Ace). If they had taken the time to talk to him and tell them what they wanted it would be a different story. David has a great since of humor and is a great guy. It's not his fault if people walk into his shop and get offended by every word that is said. The shop is a street shop and David does bad ass work. I have taken the time to get to know him and have let him get to know me, and as a women I feel very comfortable in his shop and with him. I just received another tattoo from him today and it is a beautiful piece of artwork. Being in his shop means hanging out with a good friend. Art takes time so if your in a rush this is not the experience for you. David takes the time to get to know you so the art work he gives you is a reflection of you. Out of all my tattoos Davids stands out as the best pieces of work because he is an artist first. Oh one more thing the person who wrote the review about David and said that he took her $50.00 dollar deposit is not telling the truth. David is true to his word because his word is his business. FYI read the reviews of people who have gotten to know David and received work from him, not the people who talk to him for a couple of minutes and think they know who he is.
Review Source:This place is phenomenal. Ace does great work at a great price. He fixed two tattoo I had done 7 years ago on east coast. They looked like hell Ace did a cover up and tied everything together on the theme I was going for. Â Highly recommend Ace tattoo if its your first or covering. Does great work and has a great attitude.
Review Source:I passed by Ace Tattoo as I was searching for a studio to do a sleeve for me. The guy behind the counter (I'm guessing is the owner and operator) greeted me nicely enough.
What made my experience here go south wasn't anything bad about the artist or his work but the clientele for the studio. As I was brainstorming with the artist. A younger customer, maybe 16-17 years old, started asking me if I was a gang member and proclaiming which gang he was part of. If an establishment is ok having potential customers questioned by gang members then more power to them. Safe to say, I decided not to get a tattoo from Ace Tattoo.
