Francisco did an awesome job. I have a beautiful Tiger head tattoo on my left forearm. Francisco, might be a good idea to remind customer's not to park in front of the shop during certain hours. In addition to the cost of my tatt, I got a $93 parking ticket. My fault for not reading the sign but a reminder would have been helpful. In spite of, I would return to Francisco for future work. My tattoo is a simple symbol, I even printed out a picture for the tattoo "artist". He had told me that if I needed it retouched he'd do that for free. So i got my tat, i tipped him, everything seemed okay until it healed. Lining was crooked, there were light patches inside, shading was uneven. My friend's tattoo had discolored patches as well. They were simple tattoos.
We both went in to get them retouched, it was empty, all of the employees were laying back watching batman on tv. The guy who did my tattoo was there, he lazily grunted as he stood up, clearly he wasn't happy to see me. I told him that he had said I could get my tattoo retouched for free and he adds with attitude, "Well a tip is appreciated".
In my head I'm thinking, okaaaay I tipped you the first time for a fucked up tattoo and now I feel forced to tip you again... nice.
But okay, I wanted my tattoo fixed so I agreed. He does his thing and still the tattoo looks shitty and he looks annoyed. Â Buh bye asshole!
Plus my friend didn't get to get hers fixed because her guy no longer worked there and nobody wanted to do it for her... a simple hello kitty tattoo! All assholes.
A few months later David from San Pedro Tattoo offers to fix it for free, he does and he does it right. He didn't even require me to tip him, I did anyway.
Thanks to whoever popped my tattoo cherry I'll be sure to make All soul's the last place I'd go to for all of my future tattoos.
The place is pretty cool. Looks like your typical tattoo shop. I got my nose and belly button pierced there. Everything is pretty well priced which helps out. I decided to get a fleur de leis tattooed on my hip and I brought in a picture of the piece I wanted. Well, the guy that did it didn't give me exactly what I wanted. It still looks like a pretty cool tattoo but it's nothing near what I explained or described to him.
