This shop is one of the best in marysville! I was very happy with the shop. It was clean and advertised the artist skills all over the walls. I told them what I wanted and he drew up exactly what I wanted but even better than I pictured it. Once we got started Vlad kept me distracted by asking me questions about my tattoo and my personal life and he was very funny. All the staff are very nice. If you're getting your first tattoo or your 100th this is the shop to go to!

I have been going to Moon since the day after I turned eighteen.

Anvil is clean, well-lit, and very friendly every time I come in. Your artist makes you feel welcome and walks you through the tattoo. They don't become frustrated when the stencil is moved several times or when you have a question or two, which is something I have experienced at shops with other artists. Their prices are also EXTREMELY reasonable for the quality of work they do.

My only complaint is their scheduling. Because they are popular and their artists do such quality work, they do have a lot of walk-ins and a booked schedule. I have been rescheduled on more than one occasion and, because they don't ask for phone numbers, I am only told that they don't have time for me when I walk in the door. However, the quality of work is worth it to me, so I only knocked one star.

By far the best shop around!
I called with one idea that didn't work out so I asked if we could do something else. Moon accommodated me above and beyond! He worked with me to give me just what I wanted and was so nice and laid back.
The shop is very clean and professional. Everyone there is nice and easy going.
My husband and I will both be back again and again!
I can't say enough good things about this place and the artists!

Keith Bailey has done two of my tattoos one of them 14 years ago and still looks awesome!! He also has done most of my husbands tattoos. The shop is clean and everyone is friendly. I would and have recommended them to anyone. Keith does beautiful and colorful work. While there I have seen some of the other guys tattoos and they also do great work but Keith is my man!!!

I can not begin to describe how amazing this shop and its artists are. I have collected art fro the last 18 years, from a few different artists. After going to Anvil I will never use another shop. They are clean, sterile and very professional, prices are median range for tattoo's in the area.  Lonnie Moon has done 3 pieces on me and 2 on my wife and one on 2 of my friends the work  is exceptional! after my first two I decided Lonnie is the artist to do my back piece I been planning for 10 years we are through the first 2 of four sittings the work is incredible and I cant wait to get the rest done. I can not praise this shop any higher. You can not go wrong choosing Anvil for your work!

To celebrate my 40th birthday, I got my first tattoo.  This is something that I've always wanted to do, but didn't have the guts and thought my pain threshold wasn't high enough.

I planned this day for a year and finally got the balls to book an appointment and I've never been happier.  I thought that the colors wouldn't show up on my skin (African American) but the colors are gorgeous - so lovely that people actually think it's fake.

Keith did a fantastic job on my tattoo.  We designed it together, he knocked it out in no time, and it's gorgeous.  I love it.

It did hurt, but not as badly as I thought and I'm already considering having something added to the design.  We'll see.

Anvil is the best! They really listen to you and help you get to the perfect tattoo. These guys are a blast to be around, it's always a good experience. They hold great pride in being clean and friendly and I use them exclusively. High quality art at a fair price for sure. All with no attitude, just fun.

I just got a large rat fink tattoo from Keith. Great place, great vibe. I pointed Keith to a couple rat fink photos and he put together an amazing one off "family photo", rat fink style. Keith burned through 5 hours solid like a machine. A true artist!! His wife Lacie is cool as shit too! My wife is up for the next tattoo and it will be at Anvil.

Anvil Tattoo is a new shop founded by Keith Bailey, who is an amazing artist, steelworker, sculptor, hot-rod builder and one of the best tattoers in the land.  I've spent many hours getting tattooed by Keith, and believe me, there is no subject that is taboo whilst sitting beside this man.   He's very modest, but he will say, that his tattoos "will get you laid." And they have. Our conversations have ranged from steel composition to SNL skits to feats of road-head.  He's great at keeping his lines crisp and clean, even while I'm laughing my ass off.
I believe he coined the phrase: "cunt whore dicky bird."  Sometimes when you get poked on a spicy spot like shoulder bone or sternum, you may feel the need to express your pain in ridiculous phrases. He offers anesthetics for those who need it, for an additional charge.
The shop is clean, bright, and adorned by vintage pinup photos and transgressive contemporary paintings.  If you want clean, bright and insanely artistic tattoo work done, consult with this tattoo studio.
