What a great shop, filled to the max with amazing tattoo artists.

Very friendly service upon entering the shop, and you notice the size and cleanliness of the shop immediately. They have a great layout of all the artist portfolios laid out for customers. The only bad part is every artists work is pretty much amazing so its difficult to decide on who you want to tattoo you.

I ended up choosing Gary and I do not regret it whatsoever. He was incredibly accommodating  and helped custom draw something I really liked. Also flexed around my work schedule and stayed late on a friday night to do my tattoo.

As far as pricing goes they aren't too bad cost wise depending on your opinion of expensive. If you are worried about trying to get a tattoo for cheap, then this probably isnt the shop for you because amazing work isnt cheap, and honestly it would be insulting to try and get cheap work from this calibre of a shop to begin with.

I live in Los Angeles and have no issues with traveling the hour and a half each way. to continue getting work done by these guys.

    Go here.

Big Gus tattooed my last name on my wrist and my wife's last name on her shoulder. Super straight line work. But for the size and time it took for the work I think he could've lowered the price he charged us.

Just got my first tattoo last week!  Tim was comletely awesome! He was very professional and took his time with me on the size I wanted and the placement. He was very supportive when I needed a break to lay down a bit more.  I couldn't have asked for a better looking tattoo and its so beautiful I can't stop looking at it!  Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful and the place was super clean.  I couldn't have gone anywhere better or have had anyone else do a better job.

art junkies is a clean and very professional shop,
i went to chris burnett to get an old tattoo that another artist got super lazy on, and i couldn't be happier with the work. he did an 8 hour session for 400 bucks (for his quality of work this is a mad hook up). we got a lot done, re-outlined my whole forearm, n colored it. i will definitely be getting more work done by chris. you guys need to check him out. you won't be disappointed!

Have only gotten work by Aric Taylor, I always catch him on a cancellation and since im in the LA area its easy for me to drop what im doing and bust an hour and drive, but definately worth the wait on an appointment. Hes done my 2 half sleeves, and currently working on my side, theres many ppl that tattoo but Aric's a true artist.

Been getting bits & pieces all over the place for the last 25 years or so. Time to pull them all together & make them look cool.
Went to see Big Gus & he's working in some new stuff and touching up the old stuff while filling in the gaps with his artistic touch. Totally happy with the results & the wife's happy too!
Will be going back for more soon.

I waited about 8 years to find the right tattoo artist, after all it will be a part of me forever. So, Chris Burnett at Art Junkies was my pick after a long and tedious search. After having my first tattoo done (portrait), I got the itch and went back for 2 more. 100% of my work thus far has been completed by Chris, and that's because he does been nothing less than the best. He's not only great at portraits, he is very good with text, life like images, and even the classic style tattoos- Basically he can do anything you want. He is a seriously gifted artist, and has a great work ethic. Getting tattooed by Chris is always a great experience: you get fantastic ink, and get to hang out with a cool dude who will talk to you like you're his best friend.

After my first session with Chris, I swore that I wouldn't ever let anyone else work on me. BUT, after multiple sessions and hours of time spent in the shop, I have gotten to see work from all of the artists here. I can honestly say that the quality of the work that this shop produces is top notch. I am confident that nobody would possibly leave with a bad tattoo (unless they walked in with it and hadn't asked for a cover up).

If you are looking for a place filled with amazing artists, Art Junkies is the place to go!

Brent at Art Junkies is just amazing! I had an idea of what I wanted and he went from there. I can not beleive how beautiful it is and I am so happy I decided to go see him. I have had 2 Tats done in my life, Mike DeMasi did the 1st one 8 yrs ago and Brent Olson yesterday. Cleanest place I have ever been in (I have checked out many), professional and best of all nice peeps! I am glad I was able to sit still and to not laugh while he was working.

Not all tattoo artists could do portraits. At a Body Art Expo I've attended last year, I've seen amazing portrait tattoos done by various artists.

It was then that I've decided to have a portrait tattooed on my back.

However, for that endeavor, I wanted to choose the best tattoo artist I could find, who is within reasonable driving distance from Glendale, where I reside.

In this quest for an excellent portrait tattoo artist, I took the time to attend a Body Art Expo held last November 2007 in the City of Ventura, California.

That's where I came to know a young artist named Mike Devries.

Undoubtedly, at the Ventura Tattoo Expo, Mike Devries was the best, after all, he was the winner of the "Tattoo of the Day" contest, which happen to be a portrait.

It was for the same reason that I've attended the Body Art Expo held at Pomona Fairplex today, January 5, 2008.

Once again, Mike Devries, won honors for the portraits he did yesterday and another awards for the works he did today.

Finally, my search for an exceptional portrait tattoo artist is over and I've chosen Mike Devries to do the portrait of my Mother.

Certainly, Mr. Devries deserved a 5-Star rating. However, I took liberty of withholding one, until the intended portrait is over and done.

I love love love the tattoo that I got here!!!  Compliments of Kirsten Pedroza I am forever emblazoned with a feather on my arm.

I am a huge dork and did a crap load of research on tattoo's and also hunting for the right person to do mine.  I feel one should be picky when it comes to decorating your body. If you wouldn't buy a piece of art to hang on a wall in your home from the artist would you put it on your body for all eternity?! Just had to ask.

I am a big fan of black and grey work and also realistic style of tattoo's. Since it was a feather I was getting I really didn't want it to have a hard edge and I wanted someone who understood what I was going after. Anyways I found Kirsten at Ink Slingers Ball and after looking at many a portfolio I felt she would do an awesome job. I wasn't super thrilled about having to drive all the way from Los Angeles to Hesperia for it but my little brother came with and we kind of made a birthday adventure for him out of it (he got the same one too)

The shop is super clean and really big. Its located at the back of a strip mall thingy next to a hair salon by the same name. There are a couple of other guys that work there with excellent portfolio's as well. If your looking for Elvgren looking pin up tat's this might be the place you are looking for.

If the day comes when I want to get another I wouldn't hesitate to return, even if it means another couple of hours in the car.

Rock on my friends , rock on.
