    New Review:
So here is my new review for Artistic Drag'n about one month after my initial review which you can still read below.  This review has gone from 4 to 1 star.  So right after I got it, I felt like my tattoo was especially bruised during the healing process.  It appeared like the ink had leaked or ran into the surrounding skin outside the outline.  Well, 4 weeks later it never went away.  I did a little research online and one tattoo artistic claims that this happens when the artist goes too deep and at an angle with the needle which can cause the bleeding effect which I described.  Because the pigment is now in the muscle tissue and not in the skin glands, where it should be, it will continue to spread.  Sweet!  Thanks a lot Tony.

Moral of the story: Don't go to Tony!  Go to Magnum where I got my first tattoo which is still amazing and perfect.

    Old Review:
So Artistic Drag'n was the place for tattoo #2.  My sister and I had tried to go to a few other places, including Magnum where I got my first tattoo but they were booked solid for a week.  We also tried Pain for Sale but they weren't open early enough on the day we wanted to go.  I have to say we had no particular reason for picking this place... we just dug out the phone book and picked.

First impression was that this place was a little bit sketch.  It wasn't as immaculate and organized as well as other places I've been but it wasn't bad.  The people were a little rough around the edges but friendly, which goes a long way.

In terms of talent... I can't really say much about Tony's expertise.  We had a pretty easy design and template for him to follow so he couldn't really screw it up.  If I were going to have a tattoo designed for me with more artistic freedom I would definitely do some research before picking this place... (or any other place for that matter).

Tony talked the whole time he did my tattoo which drove me a little bit crazy.. but all in all my experience was fine.  My skin hasn't turned green yet and my tattoo looks good.

I sorta want to deduct another star for only accepting cash, but I'll refrain.
