Birch Avenue Tattoo

I had my tattoo done by Todd Matyas and I am so grateful for his professionalism, kindness, and creativity. I actually live in Phoenix but drove up to Flagstaff to receive better service. Also, my tattoo is rather large so I will say TIME was a huge investment in my part and I still drove up multiple time to have my tattoo worked on by Todd. The price was right and his personality made the experience that much better. Todd has doing this for a very long time and it definitely shows in his tattoo work and the way he cares for his shop. I recommend him to everyone I know who is considering a tattoo, large or small.

I got my first tattoo at tat fu in flagstaff and I liked their service two years ago but when I went in this time I felt discouraged and they basically told me I didn't want a tattoo and sent me away. I went over to birch avenue tattoo and they were so inviting and excited about my idea. It was a way better vibe than any shop I've ever walked into. Sammy did an amazing job on a colorful butterfly on my shoulder I will be going back to him in the future for any tattoo work I ever need. I recommend birch avenue to anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere, there was definitely positive energy running throughout the whole shop. So glad I went here!! Plus you can't beat their prices!

Went as a drop in during posted business hours.  No one was there.  No sign saying "Sorry, we are closed today."  Tried calling to see if maybe there was a message about when they would be open without any luck.  So this isn't a review of services, really, just an observation that if you can't be open when you say you are open, please put a note on the door.
