Bottom line is: Â GO HERE!
Over a span of years, I've had 3 tattoos in different cities around the U.S.  I wanted my fourth as a memorial to a special friend who just died unexpectedly.  I went to another nearby shop first and knew immediately that it wasn't right for me.  No one would even acknowledge me, and when I asked for help, I found the staff unfriendly  & left there very discouraged. Â
I checked my smart phone and then  went to Body Accents which is just about 1/2 block to the west.
What a 180 degree turn around with friendliness and professionalism!   Lexi at the front desk is personality plus.  She answered my questions and all the operators were busy so I left my number and I got a call from Ken a short time later.
Ken drew a great photo, used the right colors, and was really pleasant and did a terrific job.  The shop is clean, and all the tools are sterile.  The entire experience was A+.  And best of all, my tattoo is beautiful! Â
Thank you Body Accents for being so nice and giving me the greatest memorial tattoo!
I called around asking if anyone did infant piercings. I have a 6 month old and wanted her ears done with a needle because the piercing gun can't be fully sterilized. Most places said no or one said yah but call back later to talk to the piercer all where not very helpful with info as I was nervous to get my little girl pierced. As soon as I called body accent the girl who answered the phone was nice and helpful. Once we got there Carla was so good to my little girl and very knowledgable. And even when her piercing back came out two days later they were happy to help re pierce it. I would def recommend her for anyone looking for a piercing
Review Source:Wanted to share my experience with Body Accents.....The artist went too deep (yes sounds FANTASTIC but in tattoo land it aint) he went too deep with the needle causing white spots in my solid black tattoo. Happy to know I have a muscle that has a tattoo on it. Â Oh and lastly? I was knock down, slammer, hammer, almost vomiting DRUNK when I had the tattoo done at the offending tattoo shop. Ain't there some sort of law about permanently changing one's body if said person isn't even capable of spelling they own name on the release form due to the 47 shots of tequila they not only drank but were soaked in? Don't get me wrong I wanted the tattoo and the sheer volume of alcohol I had imbided had nothing to do with my decision but shouldn't a professional artist draw the line at a drooling, tequila wearing, mess of a thing demanding a tattoo?
Thank you for the crappy tattoo Body Accents and if there is a way to share a photo privately on Yelp I am happy to share said crappy tattoo!
Awesome! Â My daughter and I were visiting the Desert this past weekend and have been wanting piercings for the longest time. Â We called around and asked the locals for the best local shop. Â They all recommended Body Accents. Â Do not regret it for a minute. Â We are so pleased with our piercings. Â Virtually painless and the recovery has been easy. Â Ernest was the best. Â Super clean! Â Super nice! Â I would definitely drive from LA to the Desert for another piercing from Ernest. Â Thanks!
