Love this place, was my first time there but I can say its not going to be my last.. Guy Matt was real cool called in to see if they had any Openings n he took me right in. Told him what I wanted n he just Sketched it up on the spot.. I'd tell anyone to go here.. For sure going back soon as I heal..

I have been to many tattoo shops all over the country, and this is by far the best one ever! And the reason are two words....MATT MUELLER!
Matt not only is a cool guy, but his work is phenomenal! He is quick and extremely talented. He works Friday thru Monday, and yes, you might have to wait up to a few months to get an appointment at times. However HE IS WORTH THE WAIT!
I will never let anyone else tattoo me, I will go wherever he goes. He is amazing! If you are sure about getting a tattoo, don't hesitate and make an appointment with Matt "Make It Happen" Mueller.
I had a big tattoo done on my thigh here just last night. Matt did it and I had the most amazing time. My tattoo looks incredible and it was cheaper than I had anticipated. If you're looking to get tattooed, go to body by design. The couple weeks wait is worth it. If you want a tattoo TODAY then ask for a different artist or go somewhere else. Â The owners are really sweet and genuine people. I was completely entertained the whole 4 hour appointment and matt is incredibly considerate. I set up another appointment as I was leaving last night. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wanted beautiful work done! Thanks guys!!!
Review Source:Alright here's what's up, Body by Design is easily the best parlor I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. If you want a piercing, ask for Kim and if you want a tattoo, ask for Sean. That simple. I don't trust any body except those 2 to work on me anymore. Sean's done 2 tattoos on me and Kim has done 9 piercings and I'm nothing but 100% satisfied. This is the place to go to. Don't ever go anywhere except here. I'm kind of an aficionado when it comes to this sort of thing so if I tell you these guys do a good job, you can take that to the bank.
And Emily, no offense and I don't mean to get on a soap box here but if you want to be numbed when you're getting worked on, you're getting this stuff done for the wrong reasons.

Anyway. The real gem here is their artist Matt Mueller. He is just such an AMAZING color specialist and at 24, he is so incredibly talented at what he does. You could have an idea and have no idea how it is going to look and he will just create something so beautiful you are almost angry you weren't born with it.
He also uses numbing spray which, while you are in the tattoo process, is probably the greatest thing ever. It doesn't totally numb the area but it hurts considerably less.
The girls who work behind the counter and do the piercing there are also very nice and awesome. My best friend got her nose and belly button done there and they were just so reassuring to her.
I would actually give it four stars if we were talking about the whole shop, however. Matt, although awesome, you have to make an appointment to get and he only works Monday-Friday so if you make an appointment in July, you'll probably get work done in early September - kind of ridiculous. So if you want one RIGHT NOW, you'll have to go to one of the other artists, who are also good but just not as nice and as quick as Matt. The music they play is also very good but if you don't like pop-punk or sort of poppy rap, you might want to bring some headphones.
They are also sort of expensive, but totally worth it.
Five stars! I go back to Matt for every single tattoo I get.
