I, Like Ariana had my tattoo done by Sky because I met his wife randomly and loved her tattoos. I went into Broken Heart tattoo alone and felt like family! Sky has done 3 of my 4 tattoos and I love him! He is sweet and kind and very understanding even when you say it hurts LOL. I love the atmosphere and Sky makes me feel very comfortable. I have sent multiple women to him for their first tattoos! He really makes you feel ok with being nervous. Thank you Sky and Broken Heart Tattoo Team! I will be back!

Very cool atmosphere. Â Very artistic inside and tasteful, there's lots to look at. Â Nice cool guys run the shop, and were busy doing their own thing, but still all said hi and what's up and was greeted with smiles. Â Was tatted by Adam, his work is awesome and shows real experience, his style and talent is undeniable. Â I'm positive this tattoo shop generates good looking tattoos day in and day out, thanks to these professional gentlemen.
Review Source:I followed my artist Sodapop to Broken Heart Tattoo. I was his first appointment at BHT right after New Years. I have been to many tattoo shops over the years and Broken Heart is my favorite by far! Â Sodapop is amazing. He does beautiful, clean work with a gentle hand and a smile. I won't have anyone else tattoo me. Â Broken Heart Tattoo has a great owner and staff. Sky has decorated the place in an eclectic theme of skateboarding/fishing/hunting and bobble heads. I love the secret back room too. Â No bad attitudes, good music and a friendly atmosphere will keep Broken Heart open for many years to come. I look forward to taking my husband there next month. I hope to have many more nights with the BHT crew!
Review Source:First tattoo ever. Did my research by asking my most heavily tattooed friends where I should go. There were multiple options, but because broken heart was the closest, and therefore the first on my list, I stopped by.
I was nervous walking in, being my first tattoo and all. I had a specific design I wanted. Sky was busy at the moment, but he directed me to Alfy, and asked if he was interested. I showed Alfy my design, and we discussed. He made some brilliant suggestions, and set up an appointment.
I have had a problem with needles in the past, and they were very accommodating, and knowledgeable. The process was laid back, and extremely professional. I felt like I was being listened to every step of the way.
Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the design, and the tattoo. I don't think I could have been happier. The price was right, the design was perfect, and the coloring was spot on. need i say more.
Yes actually I do...While I was getting my tattoo, another customer came in wanting sky to fix his tattoo, and he did. That in itself speaks volumes to the professionalism, and skill of this tattoo shop. Just like a hairdresser, the artist fixing disasters has to be good.
I got more than I asked for, at a better bargain than I was expecting. I highly recommend Alfy, or sky at broken heart tattoo, and when (and yes I mean when) I get another tattoo, I would want Broken heart to do it.
One of the cleanest most professional tattoo parlors I have ever seen. The guys here are super friendly and make you feel totally at home. I got a tattoo done by Sky and will go back to see him anytime I want another one. He is totally awesome at color and interpreting what you want if you only have it in your head and have no artistic ability like myself.

Sky is amazing at what he does!! I would recommend him to a newb or a veteran.... He's mad cool and makes me laugh, which  can be very comforting when you are in pain! LOL His shop always looks on point and he really trully has skills........any one who reads this i is the truth! so go get tatted....

Review Source:After reading the post below about Mike Sirot I must say something. Mike Sirot has been my tattoo artist since my first tattoo at the age of 18. He is a god. He is popular. He is the BEST. Stalking is not necessary, but follow up with him is. Call him if she doesn't call you. You are the one who wants the tattoo, Mike is the artist. Waiting and patience are the nature of this business. In any business relationship following up is necessary. Great, amazing art doesn't just fall in your lap.
I will admit, I made a mistake and went to someone else for a simple music note on my wrist. Needless to say it looked horrible. When I went back to Mike and showed him my uber ugly mistake he cleaned it up and made it look 100% better. I plan on getting many more tattoos from Mike and I can not wait to see him again!

I recently got a tattoo at broken heart but I did not get it done by one of their residents, I was tatted by mike sirot formerly of above all tattoo. If anyone wants to know more about mike he is the most technical and professional artist I have dealt with, in my opinion he is one of the best artists in all of so cal. His prices and scheduling are incredible for an artists of his reputation. As for Broken Heart it is the most relaxed shop I have ever been in. You instantly feel like one of the regulars. The shop is clean friendly and in a real nice area. If you are looking for a traditional style/sailor jerry tattoo or if you want to hook up with mike sirot I highly recommend this shop.

This place is awesome. Spoke with many different tattoo artists that just wouldn't get back to me on what I wanted. Got Sky's name from a coworker and emailed him. He got back to me within minutes. I went down spoke with him and set up appointment. Got there for my appointment went over everything and got started. He did awesome. Not heavy handed at all. He asked me numerous times if I was OK or needed a break. He is very personable so that not only makes time fly but also makes it easy to not feel whats going on. The work he did was beautiful...bright colors, perfect lines, very creative...just overall awesome. Go check him out people he is an AMAZING artist without the huge ego.
