I just figured I would say that they still suck.

Go to Artist At Large to get your ink and you will be much happier!!

Came in from NY to get a tattoo with Dan. I was on time. He was drunk/high.

I was visiting a friend in Wichita over my break from school (but I am not a youngin') and wanted to get a tattoo on the back of my neck added to. My friend's son gets his work done there by Dan and it is always impressive. I had a small ohm and we added a beautiful lotus flower in pink, on the back of my neck.                                 Shelby, a new assistant was nice, knowledgeable and accommodating when I came in around noon to try and book an appointment. for later that day because I left town the next morning headed back for Seattle. The shop is really cool inside and it is in what they call Old Town so the building was, well old and probably historical since I was able to chat with Dan a little and learned some history. It may have been old but the shop was extremely clean and organized. There are also some animals around including a spider, a cat (that stayed in the back) and a large "German Goldfish" they jokingly called it.                                                                                           Dan himself made me feel right at home and easy in the chair. It was over before I knew it (probably 30 mins tops actual inking) and I am REALLY glad I was able to create an awesome memory that I will have forever.  So if you are looking for a great place to get some ink while in Wichita go see the experienced and talented Dan at Bullwinkles, the  grandfather tattoo shop of Wichita. BTW I didn't give it 5 stars because the price is higher than I am used to (160/175 with tip for a piece with color, and the size of my fist) but later I will probably realize he earned it. I will probably go back next time I am visiting. I recommend you make an appointment.

The owner is someone I would NEVER deal with again-maybe some of his workers, but there are too many other tat shops so much better in various ways. His attitude is not professional at all, and you can do SO much better.

Very cool shop. Very professional people. Very clean. I witnessed the artist using alcohol to sanitize and sterilize his equipment. The artist used latex gloves to apply the tattoo so no germs were transmitted.

I got my first tattoo there almost 2 years ago and i'm planning on getting another one there. They have numerous books and stuff all over their walls to give you an idea if your unsure on what you want.

Had to make an appointment to get it done, but no bother there. Highly recommend.
