I got a piercing there once and once is the only time I want to go there. It took a few minutes for anyone to even talk to me even though no one was currently having any work done. As I'm getting pierced the needle gets stuck! I was handed a paper on care for the piercing and rushed out even though my piercing was bleeding badly and I felt a bit sick. This was not my first piercing and I have never had problems with piercings before. For almost two weeks while I followed the paper on caring for the piercing it hurt like crazy and would bleed without warning. After over a month of this I had to remove the piercing permanently. It was a horrible experience and I would not go back. I've gotten piercings since then at another tattoo studio and haven't had a problem.
Review Source:Friendly staff, clean shop, bad artist! My girlfriend got her first tattoo from here a few months ago, and it turned out horribly!
First of all, her artist pressured her into getting a more intricate design then she originally wanted. Secondly, he managed to completely screw it up! The ornamentation on each end of her cross was completely different, and the line work was very shaky to say the least.
Not sure about the rest of their staff, but if you want a cheap tattoo that looks like a child drew it, see Mark Russo at the Chop Shop. We'll be taking our business elsewhere.
Chop shop tattoo is owned by a guy everyone calls pork chop, he is an awesome guy and I have had the pleasure of watching his guineas grow over the years into what it is today. I have been to many other shops but THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I GET INK DONE IN NORTH CAROLINA... With that said, they are always consistent on their artists, no newbys and no one with out talent. If you are going to get any tattoos or piercing done and you live in the area I suggest you go here, they will not do you wrong.
