Thanks to the Funny or Die skit entitled "Tricia & Johanna: Yelpers" for reminding me that I needed to review my daughter's ear piercing experience!! This location is actually an Icing by Claire's. In addition to all the jewelry, scarves & other "gee-gaw" they peddle, the offer piercing services, which is why we were there.

There are a couple of levels of cost depending on the studs you choose to pierce with. We opted for the highest level ($40) for our baby's ears to avoid risk of complications like reaction to the metal or infection. My wiggle-worm was a tough customer. But, the assistant manager was a pro patiently working to get the piercings even and acceptable. I was equally impressed with her ability to focus on the task at hand despite being the only associate and the sudden rush of customers humming busily around her after she started on our daughter.  

The service comes with a pint bottle of ear care antiseptic and you also have to sign a sheet about aftercare. Here we are a couple of weeks after the piercing and my daughter's ears look great, have healed nicely and we had no sign of trouble. I would recommend going here to other people interested in getting a baby's ears pierced.
