Clear Vision Tattoo's shop is the cleanest, most professional shop I've ever been in. Rick isn't an artist, he's a miracle worker. I came in with three old tattoos around my ankle that didn't go together at all. He repaired, covered, colored, and added all new beautiful elements. It turned out amazing! The shop is comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Extraordinary measures are taken for sterilization. I highly recommend this shop!
Review Source:My girlfriend went in to see mike for a piercing on the upper portion of her ear. His professionalism and knowledge was above and beyond. Over all experience for her was great. For me, being a bystander I took note of the overall atmosphere of the business . I have been to other shops, they're loud, messy, and kind of chaotic . This place has a nice overall welcome feeling.
Review Source:I first visited Clear Vision Tattoo over a month ago, as well as several other tattoo shops closer to where I live. Clear Vision was the last place I visited, because I knew as soon I left that was where I was going to have my work done.
Every other place I scoped out was either way over priced for what I wanted,(a bulldog paw on my wrist with some filigree vines,)...., and I'd get a lecture to go along with it. One "artist" even told me "It's a bad idea because it will negatively impact my life and I would never get a good job, but he'd be happy to take my money"
Clear Vision was wonderful from the minute I stepped in. It's open with beautiful art hanging around everyone's stations. Sailor was the artist that worked with me, and from the beginning he was straight with me, no BS, he understood what I wanted, he respectfully explained to me the effects visible tattoos on my wrist could have in my future... and i do mean RESPECTFULLY.... Plus the price was cheaper than any other shop had quoted me. (One shop had quoted me $80 MORE than what Clear Vision charged me)
So, anyways, a month or so later  (today) I came back and Sailor gave me the most beautiful tattoo. It's exactly what I wanted but even better. Sailor is an amazing artist and realizes there's more to tattooing than the act itself. What I expected to be quite painful, was a walk in the park and I found myself just chattin' it up and laughing along with him which was great biofeedback to keep my mind off of it.
As long as Clear Vision is around, I will ALWAYS go here for my ink and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

I walked in to get my first tattoo done here. Of course, i didn't know what to expect or how i was going to be treated by people in the shop. They were all respectful and welcoming. Sailor had an opening for a walk in so he hooked me up. He drew up exactly what i wanted, and after one tweak it was go time.
The tattoo came up perfect and they sold me the proper cleaning soaps and moisturizers in store to take care of my tat. I couldn't have been happier with the service or the tattoo.
Got my third tattoo done today and this has by far been the best experience for me! Where to begin?!

The artists are awesome! I walked in and was greeted by Sailor who ended up doing my wrist tattoo. He really worked with me and my price range, because I've been kind of broke lately! He really took his time drawing out what i wanted, and made adjustments for me.
Everyone here really takes pride in there work, has experience and is really friendly. The entire 20-30 minutes that mine took, I was just chit chatting away with everyone, laughing making jokes. It went by so quick. With my other tattoos i was bored to death waiting for them to finish.
I can't wait to go back this summer for my next piece!
I got my first tattoo here a week ago. To me getting a tattoo is not an impulse decision so I started planning it about a month in advance by emailing the shop with my idea. Rick, the owner of the shop, replied very quickly and we scheduled a day for me to come in and get my idea drawn up. He also quoted me a price in the email that ended up being with close to what I paid.
KC ended up drawing up my tattoo and Rick did the work on me a week later. Both KC and Rick were very friendly and really listened to what I wanted.
I didn't feel at all judged for being small totally wholesome looking girl going in alone to get my first tattoo. Instead, Rick was very welcoming and assured me it wouldn't be that bad (and it wasn't). The shop is very clean and spacious inside. I am very happy with the result and would definitely recommend this shop to someone else.
Clear Vision is BY FAR the cleanest, most professional tattoo shop I have ever set foot in! True artists reside here! Unlike most tattoo shops I have been to, nothing appears to be copied, or flash, rather pure art and creativity. It is apparent from the art on the walls to the art on their clients skin, this place is unique! I have never been in another shop with so many talented artists as Clear Vision.
Rick worked on me today and after just one session, I will NEVER go to anybody else!
If you are looking for excellent quality, great energy and a comfortable atmosphere, look no further!
I just got ink the other day after meeting them at an event in Simi. The owner - Rick is really nice, made me feel good about the shop and meaning behind the tattoo. The shop is clean and looks like a salon which is amazing. No where does it feel like you are in a tattoo shop by any means. The artists are friendly, proud to show and display their art, and not afraid to refer to the other artists if they feel they can't do a certain piece of art. Jessica was my artist and for the time that I was there she drew it out, made the stencil and did the work and it is absolutely AMAZING and looks real. I have had many compliments on it in the short amount of time that I have had it and I am so greatful for her. I even had her pick apart my other tattoo done at another shop and I totally agree with her and am going to have her pimp out my tattoo and make it look better than it does now.

Â The employees are very personable and easy going. Â Light handed and very talented, Rick has done all but 2 of my tattoos.
