I purchased a groupon for top and bottom  eyeliner. I had been thinking about permanent eyeliner for a while and when I say this deal, I acted quick. Usually $600 for top and bottom eyeliner, i was able to get a steal at $179. I spoke to Susan on the phone prior to coming in and she was very sweet and down to earth. I was told to go to her website which has a really cool calendar feature so you can self schedule your appt. Her office is located in a building and I parked at a parking meter right outside the entrance. Susan informed me there is also parking in the back, I'm not sure if its metered or free. It was a little tricky finding the suite within the office but I just followed the signs. the office itself consists of 3 small rooms one of which is of course where the procedure takes place. She informed me of what she was going to do, inquired about how i wanted the eyeliner to look and what to expect. She was very caring and sensitive to my wellbeing. I mean it's not easy to stare a needle coming at your eye lol. After numbing my eyelids, she went over my eyelids several times. As she explained, the 1st application is to break the skin, the second and third are to deposit color. Keep in mind she only uses black ink for eyeliner and she only does the outer eyelids not the water line. The entire process took 1 hr and it probably wouldn't have taken so long if my eye hadn't kept tearing up causing her to have to reapply the ink. She continually asked if I was okay, how i was feeling and encouraged me to speak up should i feel pain. I would equate the sensation to having someone use a number 2 pencil to draw on your eyelids, no pain per se just pressure. overall, I had a great experience. She is very approachable and has excellent bedside manners; she even went over my bottom eyelid once more upon request! After the application, my eyes were a little sore and irritated  which is expected but nothing major. she gave excellent after care instructions including not to wash face with water and to not use ice on the eyes. As an RN myself, I knew what to look for in terms of customer service, cleanliness, communication. I was not disappointed. Although the room was small, all the appropriate supplies were present. The only thing was I saw some q-tips lying on the table which i wasn't too sure about. Other than that, I was very pleased. I hope my eyeliner stays put and my body does not reject it. Susan said should this happen, give it 4 weeks and come back for a touchup.
