I have gotten two tattoo's at Teds.
I brought in what I wanted and Holly designed them for me. She had everything ready for me when I got there. I was so pleased with what she had done.
Everyone always wants to know where I got them done at. I love what she did.
Recently I went back to have more added to a tattoo I had done many years before. Ted was great we talked about what I wanted and what needed to be done. He had to redo the whole tattoo so the color's would match. He extended the vines more and added the extra roses for me.
People who saw the before and after say how much better it looks now ;)
I was very pleased with everything they did for me.
Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I will never go anywhere else.
I plan on getting another one soon ;)
My mom got her first tattoo here when she was in her 30's. She wanted a heart with her boyfriends name, and he advised her many times that names were NOT a good idea. My mom, however, is very stubborn and insisted and eventually, Ted gave in. The point of this story I guess is that he wasn't trying to get money just doing any tattoo, he wanted her to know there'd be repercussions for making stupid choices, but he knew that ultimately it was her decision. At least he tried. (My mom is married to that man, 11 years and counting).
A few years ago, my mom went in to get her second and week later I also went in to get my second. The place was spotless and the girl at the desk was friendly. They had gotten my design already (I had made an appointment and emailed them a copy) and made a trace that was ready to go right when I got there. The whole thing took an hour and was reasonably priced. Ted was a great chatter and was good at distracting me from the somewhat unsettling feeling of my nerves running down my arms every time he ran over my spine with the needle.
It turned out exactly how and where I wanted it and still looks great.
I went back a year ago, to get my sister her 18th birthday present and they completely remodeled the inside. It looks AMAZING. There is more seating for waiting friends or customers, the actual parlor part is still immaculate and a little bit bigger than before, and the piercing parlor has been expanded. Again, he explained different aspects of the tattoo and placement, rather than just ushering her in and marking her up. Again, a reasonable price, and a year and a half later, she still loves her first tattoo.
I'm thinking of getting another one and will definitely go back here.
Note: I'm not sure if you need an appointment, but I would recommend it to avoid any possible wait.
