Distinctive Body Art Tattoos & Piercing

I went in to get studs for my ears. They are a standard ear piercing but I wanted either flat backs or ball backs so the stems didn't poke my neck when I slept on my side. The girl recommended that I get the 16 gauge size so I bought 2, one for each side. After I got home I compared them to some other regular studs I have and they are much thicker. I didn't want to increase my hole size so I didn't even try to put them in. I went back the next day and she told me no refunds or exchanges and pointed to a sign that was about 6" from the floor. I didn't see it when I walked in and she didn't tell me their policy when I purchased them. To be fair, she was otherwise helpful and offered to help me put them in (I declined). She also said she could order me some 18 or 20 gauge and would give me a discount on that pair but since I'm already out $28 on the first pair, I didn't want to take another chance and dig myself deeper. Unfortunately, not telling me up front they didn't accept returns gives them a low rating in my book
