Went in to get my angel bites done and I had a bit of the jitters but the man who did my lip piercing was awesome and didn't let me chicken out. Also the receptionist was really nice over the phone, letting me know prices and didn't have a problem with my questions. I would definitely come back to get anything else pierced.
Review Source:The receptionist was nice, and the rest of the staff was nice and informing and answered every question I had asked. The septum piercing i got the day i went in was super quick, but the lady who had pierced my nose didn't seem so confident in the piercing and made me uncomfortable. It did look crooked at first but i gave it a bit of time to heal and it looks amazing now and I absolutely love it. The piercer just has to be more confident in herself because her work is amazing.
Review Source:This shop is awesome! The vibe of this place is awesome.! Review Source:This is my go-to place for all my tattoos. I've been to Casey for the last 3 tattoos and he is always mindful of what my personal opinions are and how I want the tattoo. He always asks questions and he's very talented when it comes to customizing and drawing the tattoo out for you. I always do a lot of research on a tattoo and have an idea and when I bring it up to Casey, it always sketches it out a lot better than I had imagined. I won't go to anyone else!
Review Source:I came here to get my tragus piercing about a week ago. It was very reasonably priced and the piercer was very clean, professional, and quick. The only weird thing was that they told me conflicting information... When I got my piercing done, they told me to come back in about a week to get the jewelry switched out to a more comfortable stud (I was pierced with a barbell, which is fine, just uncomfortable since I can't clean my ear and I always get this annoying itch right where the other side of the barbell hits... but this is probably poor planning on my part), but when I returned, they said that I shouldn't be switching my piercing out yet. I appreciate their honesty with me upon going back. That's a very good thing. I just wish that they were a little more clear to begin with. But overall, everyone in the parlor is very nice and I plan on going back if I want any more piercings in the future.
UPDATE: I ended up changing my piercing myself. The barbell that I was pierced with is seriously an inch long. Actually, it's MUCH longer than the curved barbell that my lip was pierced with and that thing was monstrous. I'm surprised that my piercing didn't grow keloids from having that much room and irritation from the barbell constantly sliding in and out. I no longer know if I actually want to go back.
Back when I was in search of someone to re-pierce my lip a couple years back. I wound up finding DTS; and it ended up being a pretty legit spot. They gave me a good deal on the piercing and extra studs. Dang did my piercing masterfully so he's definitely a go-to person for piercings. Nyna hooked me up with a good deal. I'll be back again some day!
Review Source:They treat their customers like family, and make you feel right at home. I got a chest piece done by their artist "Sleezy" and it was a great piece, great ink, at a great price. Shout out to "Dough Boy" who made fun of me while I was in pain, but of course all in good humor and it kept me light hearted as the ink went in. Highly recommended, ask for Dang!
Review Source:awesome, walked in yesterday and got a small tattoo from casey, he's great and does really clean work. looking around at his drawings i can tell he is a true artist. the rest of the staff are really nice and professional. the shop is really clean and cozy. . . can't wait to come back for more :)
Review Source:I had my phoenix tattoo done at DTS this past summer and it was a wonderful experience. Their staff is very friendly and professional, making you feel right at home. My tattoo artist, Casey Matsuo, was amazing. He took his time and the phoenix came out so beautiful. I still get compliments on a daily basis. I am definitely looking forward to my next tattoo at DTS Tattoo Company.
Review Source:I had my tattoo cherry popped at DTS Tattoo Company 5 years ago and I've been understandably addicted to this place since. At that time I was in San Diego for a visit, so when I went back home to Alabama I decided to get 2 more tattoos from a local shop. Needless to say, lesson learned...go to the professionals at DTS Tattoo Company for quality work instead of mass produced, on-line printout, traced "art". I ended up moving to California and had 2 more pieces done at this place by two of their amazing artists. I felt like a bad ass one day and let their talented piercing artist bling up my nose, too! Damn...writing this review makes me miss the shop, so I will definitely be back there for some more amazing art on this wide canvas aka my body =D
Review Source:Took my girlfriend here for her first tattoo ever, she was really nervous at first and didn't know what to get. Dang one of the main tattooist helped us and gave her a sketch of a rosary and she fell in love. He also gave us a military discount which lowered the price which was a good deal! Took only about 1hr to finish considering we were walk-ins. I'm planning to get my half sleeve done by him :) best place for a tattoo I highly recommend dang.
Review Source:Just recently had my 8th tattoo done by Casey and it was wonderful. He knew exactly what I wanted and is a great artist. He took his time helping me and other clients find the perfect art piece, none of that "hurry the f up so I can get paid" kind of attitude I find at a lot of different shops around here in SD. Awesome, kind, timely, and fun to hang out with, if thats the kind of artist you want to create your masterpiece, he's your guy!
Review Source:DTS is the go-to shop for tattoos! Â I was lucky to have Casey Matsuo work on my piece! Â I went in having some idea of what I wanted but didn't exactly know how to lay it out or what colors to use. Â Casey took my ideas and created a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Â I am extremely happy with my results and have gotten many compliments from everyone who has seen it! Â I highly recommend Casey to anyone who is looking for a super talented tattoo artist!
Review Source:Gotta give a shout out to my boy Casey Matsuo. I went in here for my first tattoo. A side piece running from my left hip to my upper left back. I searched all over San Diego, Orange County and some parts of LA for the right artist for the exact style I wanted. I happened to meet Casey through a friend. I set up an appointment, went in and discussed what I wanted, the style, the meaning of the piece and where on my body and Casey was more than happy to help me out. He hand designed each piece and has such a unique style, it really was exactly what i was looking for. He takes depth and angle into perspective (art and graphic design degree) so it really added some dynamic to my piece. The shop itself is everything you would expect in a tattoo/piercing shop. Clean and comfortable. Everyone that works in the shop is friendly and laid back. They'll take walk ins and appointments. Overall I was extremely happy with my  experience at DTS and can't wait to go back for more work.
