There are only 3 piercers in this state I would let come near me with a needle and Noah at Evolution is one of them. He's fantastic, professional and an all around really nice guy. I had a freak accident and one of my nipple piercings got ripped 90% out, I called them right away because I was having a major freak out and in panic (can you blame me?!?) and just on the phone they got me calm and spoke to me in a manner to not make me freak out any more than I already was. I was given instructions on what to do at the moment then come to the shop ASAP so they could have a look at it. Noah said it was pretty bad but wouldn't require plastic surgery to fix. He cleaned and bandaged it up for me and sent me home with some sea salt and the usual care instructions. I wasn't even charged but I was so grateful I left him a big tip! At Evolution they actually care about what they are doing and want to do the best job possible. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my piercings.

Angela is in training so she helped prep me for my piercing. Â Just my nose but everything was clean and sterile. My room was decorated with beautiful artwork that was calming.
Chris (the piercer) joined us. Â He introduced himself and asked if I had and questions. Â I felt right at ease. Â
Angela cleaned and prepped me, marked my spot. Â Need a little adjusting as suggested by Chris.
Chris explained every step..I saw the tube/needle and my jewelry was custom fitted. I closed my eyes took a deep breath and viola! Â My nose was done. Â Mild sensation. Not really any pain.
I was impressed from the start. If you want to get pierced go here!
Evolution is by far the best place to get pierced!  I've been pierced at a variety of locations around town, but Evolution is home to the most professional, quick, clean  and knowledgeable staff out there.  When I've gone there Noah has always dealt with my piercings, including the piercing of my forward helix and the replacement of my nose ring, and he's always so helpful.  He's also pierced a number of my friends, and the experience at Evolution is always friendly, painless and over before you know it!
Once I get some more money saved up I'll definitely be back over there punching more holes in my body!
I rushed over a couple of weeks ago after I wiggled my jiggle too hard in zumba and knocked my belly button ring out. I bought a titanium ring from a store in California, and was super worried and sad as to where I could find the quality the other store provided. I called Noah explaining my situation and he asked me to come in so we could figure something out. I decided on an awesome 14k gold ring, and I loved it! However, the jewel was a little loose, and had to go in and get something else figured out. Noah is professional, kind, and patient. He does his best to make you feel comfortable in a somewhat uncomfortable position! You don't usually run around showing your "hoohaa" areas to strangers, but he does his best to make you feel at ease. If you're there for a piecer I'd recommend Noah. Review Source:I moved to Albuquerque just a year ago and was a bit skeptical about finding a good piercing place. A few weeks ago my friend got her tongue pierced and when I went with her to Evolution, I was very surprised at how nice this place is. I absolutely love the mood! The lady at the front also explained everything to me and was very patient with me. The piercer was Chris and he was great. Very nice and knowledgeable. There was virtually no wait and I left knowing that I had been in good hands. I got my nose and tongue pierced and they are healing very well. When these are done healing, I will definitely be going back for more.

Location: Though not in the best part of town, Evolution is far enough down to avoid the full brunt of Central. Easy parking, and easy to find.
Cleanliness and Appearance: The store is clean and well designed, it's filled with lots of private rooms and the decor gives a calm atmosphere. Nice koi fish too.
Price: Evolution is expensive, it doesn't bother me to pay the premium though. You definitely get what you pay for here. It's a premium place, just what I want when I'm altering my body.
Staff: The staff is filled with confident, professional, and seasoned piercers. Each piercer had things down to a science, and I was happy with the results.
I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
I finally threw caution to the wind and decided to get my Monroe pierced. I was only hesitant due to my job being Nazis.
I went in and was greeted by the staff. The girl (didn't catch her name) behind the counter was super informative about the before during and after the piercing. I mean her customer service skills had me thinking "Damn she really loves her job."
The wait wasn't long and the ambiance of the shop couldn't be better. Noah took me back and was very down to earth about the directions on how to keep my monroe clean. He said "I know you're going to forget everything I just said so keep this pamphlet and call us any time." Before I knew it the ordeal was done without any pain. Noah was nice enough to fix my nose stud as well. It had been making me sneeze that whole week.
My piercing looks great, I love it. The only thing I have to worry about is dodging my boss five days a week. YEE!

The counters filled with beautifull Mineral, Wood, Glass, and organic tribal and traditional designs was sick.... The leader of OCunter -intelligence Cute and helpful.. Loads of knowledge that most hsops dont even bother to mention about tapering, wait times to stretch, the value of internally threaded jewlery(which is exclusively stocked) Â NO Chinese open threaded nipple shreaders/ disease carriers for me thank you. that what you get when you pay 18bucks for bars or curves at other places.
But this place gots a reptuation to maintain, like DAMN... and they hold it down... Associated with BODY VISION LOS ANGELES, the countries best body jelery makers( I hear good things)
Oh and BTW I also hear rumors from past cutomers that these guys are pretty awesome piercers...
Also if you got rough stone/organic material apparently they can shape them. So thats pretty effin cool to...
This place is definitely at the top of the body mod food chain. I've had all my major piercings done here and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Noah is incredibly polite and professional without being distant or alienating. He patiently answered all of my many questions and calmly dealt with all my nervous fidgeting. I also recently had the pleasure of having my ear piercings stretched by Jamie, who was also very friendly and knowledgeable.
The waiting area is clean but not to the point of uncomfortable sterility. There are plants, artwork, and even a pond to help distract worried patrons from what they are about to do. Once in the individual rooms where the piercings are performed, the atmosphere changes. The rooms are very clean and vaguely reminiscent of doctors' offices but still comfortable and relaxing. The piercings are done quickly, with sterile equipment, and are always much less painful than expected, thanks in part to the experience of the piercers and in part to adrenaline. The jewelry options are really varied and the prices aren't bad either so it's really up to natural selection as to what you pick. Also, if they don't have something, they are happy to custom bend it for you or order it from somewhere else.
I love everything I've ever had done here and have never had any trouble with any of the piercings or stretchings. This is definitely the place to go in Albuquerque. If you go anywhere else, you deserve to be weeded out of the gene pool.
I need to update my review since actually getting pierced at Evolution yesterday. Once again, I have to tell you that this place is stellar.
I got my tragus pierced on both sides by Jamie Clark. My impression upon initially meeting him was that he would be a great piercer, and I was right. He was very gentle; I felt no pain. Well... maybe a little, but only in the good way that I actually like it. He employed the "take a deep breath in and let it all the way out" method of preparing me for the actual moment of piercing, which I appreciate greatly.
Another thing that is meaningful to me is that there was no feeling of being rushed or pushed - no "get 'em in and get 'em out" kind of vibe at all. Jamie is very sweet and personable, and I am glad to know him to the (very) limited degree that I do.
This was a tremendous and awesome experience, and I don't say that sort of thing lightly about piercings. I know from experience that they can also be disastrous.
Again, I will say that there is just no reason to visit any other piercing studio in town.
I forget Albuquerque isn't quite up on the whole yelp thing as of yet. I have only ever been pierced at very high standard piercing places. HTC in Arizona and Anomaly in Pasadena. This place was amazing. Noah was such a great guy. He really helped me feel at easy and with a steady voice calmed me of all my worries. I would gladly get pierced here again. It is however a bit pricey, but honestly. Would you really want someone coming at you with needles that you don't completely trust?! GOD NO! So come here. They also have a beautiful selection of jewelry.

Noah is professional without being cold and makes you feel at ease in what could be a somewhat scary experience. Â I have never felt out of place or talked down to while there. Â Not to mention (but I will) the beautiful and relaxing front area with the best displays of jewelry I have seen.

Evolution is... wunderbar. (I'm trying to mix it up with my positive adjectives, OK?) Their piercers are great, their jewelry selection is awesome, their waiting room is beautiful with lots of stone and plants and fish! My mom actually took me here in high school to get my ears pierced. I think she was a bit freaked out by Noah's appearance, but he was perfectly professional and eloquent and explained everything for her in a non-condescending manner. The whole place far exceeded her expectations... and maybe even worked on shattering some stereotypes?
