Have had several of my tattoos done here by Terry. He is a phenomenal artist, works both freehand and with stencils, knows how to shade, bloodline, and bold line like a boss! The shop is always kept immaculate and is very spacious so you don't feel confined. The boys are all great at what they do, and as always you will never e disappointed with their work.
Review Source:Had my very first tattoos done at Faith by Nate. He made it feel very comfortable so that I wasn't so nervous for it. He did a GREAT job with my kids foot prints on my shoulders.. I got them done 2-3 yrs ago, and to this day I STILL get compliments on them, and I have no problem where I got them done, and that I recommend them to go there for a tattoo.
The environment of it is awesome.. I don't like other places where its LOUD, and has music that you cant understand. Here is it a mixture of music, and the people are SO nice. My husband and I will continue to go there as long as they are there for our tattoos.
They are so clean in there, and polite to their customers. They take their time on the tattoos that they are giving you. My husband also got a tattoo there and Matt, did a GREAT job on it.
The prices are great, and reasonable, and affordable based on the SIZE of your piece not how many times you go in there to finish something.
I am a huge fan of Terry (owner and chief artist) and his crew. I have been since day one. I and 4 other friends/family members sport ink from Terry or one of his apprentices.
When they first opened (summer 2006?), I was working across the street and went to their grand opening. I was instantly impressed by Terry and his wife as people, Terry as an artist, and the space as a space. They gave away some excellent prizes that night (I won a t-shirt with some of Terry's art that I wore until it just plain wore out). My then-roommate won some free ink.
Tangent: Terry is a genius when it comes to cover-ups. His portfolio at the shop has some outstanding before-and-after sets that showcase this type of work.
A month later my then-roommate went down to get his work and I went with him. The piece was a Phoenix that my roommate had created and Terry made better. Seriously awesome work.
Next, another friend got a companion piece to an existing tattoo. The original tattoo was a hawk in front of the sun. The new piece was a crescent moon with remainder of the circle darkened in. I have never seen detail like this.
Third to get done was myself. Â I got a design that I created, and once again, Terry improved. (See "My Tattoo by Terry - 5 years old" in photos).
Fourth was my now ex-wife, who got two pieces, a Tibetan-style tiger and Tibetan-style dragon. We may not get along anymore, but her tattoos are still beautiful.
Finally, my current girlfriend/future ex-wife, got some work of her own design done by Nate, Terry's apprentice. Scales of justice (no surprise since we are both lawyers). Simple work with unbelievable delicate lines. (See "Ashleigh's Tattoo by Nate" in photos).
Who will be the next in my circle to get inked at Faith? Who knows, but I am pretty  sure we would all go back. I know I will.
Be aware, because of their reputation, appointments run 4-6 weeks out. Totally worth it though.
Hands Down I will send everyone to Faith. The Place was Sqeeky Clean, Service "Great" Â & Tatting is Unreal. Im sure their pericings are Great but none for me. I love going to a Clean, Professional Place where all the employees Really Enjoy what they do. They take their time & do it Right.
Review Source:I have to preface this by mentioning that I have not, in fact, gotten any tattoos at Faith. But I recently accompanied a friend to his very first tattoo experience, and it was nothing less than perfection.
From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated warmly and made comfortable. The artists' portfolios are displayed on digital frames instead of books or albums which we thought was a cool idea. There's also artwork on the wall, comfy couches to hang out on, and good music playing. The owner's wife runs a little boutique in the back which is adorable.
The atmosphere is insanely clean. I observed the artists as they worked and all four of them were meticulous about keeping everything sanitary.
I can't stress enough what a cool group of guys work there. My friend's artist (and the owner) Terry was so friendly and excited to do the tattoo. He even had a stool next to my friend's chair where I could sit and watch him in action. I made sure to keep enough distance as not to bother him while he worked.
In addition, the price was surprisingly reasonable for the kind of work done. I was definitely impressed. There was no pressure, and everyone in the shop seemed super laid back, yet entirely focused on their work. There is no question that  when I'm ready for my next tattoo, Faith is the ONLY place I'll go. Check them out, they will not disappoint!
I only have two tattoos, Terry did both and helped me edit/design one of them. I'm giving them five stars for the following reasons:
1) Cleanliness: the place is more like an art gallery than your typical tattoo shop. It is my understanding that they only use disposable equipment and they don't do piercings (at least when I was there). Terry is truly an artist, and I've actually bought work from the store (one piece by him, and another by a friend of his)
2) Discretion: Like the previous poster said, they will not do just any design if they know it will turn out poorly. However, they will make suggestions and work with you.
3) Personal touch: Terry really listened to my ideas, and helped me articulate them on paper through a design. He made excellent suggestions and I never felt pressured into doing something I wasn't 100% satisfied with.
4) Consistency: His portfolio is great, he's done numerous work on my sister and other people I know and it was always high quality. My own tattoos both turned out how I had hoped.
5) The tattooing itself: I didn't feel like the staff was being overly nice or fake, but they answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. Terry also has a nice "hand" for tattooing...it was never too deep or painful despite one 5 hour session. According to my sister, who has had work done by numerous other artists, he is one of the best when it comes to both quality and sensitivity to those who are new to tattooing.
Right now I'm working on a larger design for my back, but I want to hash it out more before I take it in to be done. I'll definitely be going back to Faith Tattoo for any future work I get.
Finally! Â I got some ink from Faith! Â Getting words tracked across my back was a bit of a task simply because they had to be straight - and perfectly straight they are. Â I can't thank Terry enough for the work he also did on my ankle - right across my Achilles's. Â As my foot twitched and moved, he seemed unaffected by the added difficulty. Â Both tattoos healed well, came out perfectly, and were done in an immaculately clean environment. Â I'll be back from here on out for the rest of my work. Â
Faith is pleasing from the get-go. Â The shop is kept spotless, and is open and homey. Â Terry, the owner and main tattoo artist, is not only over-the-top friendly, but also very picky (in a good way!) Â about what he designs. Â If he doesn't feel comfortable doing a tattoo, he won't. Â And should you need a touch-up, he does them for free.
