The cleanest , friendliest studio I have ever walked into. My first time in yesterday and I was very impressed. Unlike a lot of studios out there, you won't get attitude when you walk in the door. These guys are super cool and willing to work with you. I saw this first hand when a young lady before me came in wanting a memorial, with no examples or photos of what she wanted. Sterling helped her and was very patient with her. It's always best to have a good idea for your artist to go from but after chatting and coming up with some cool ideas, he made the customer happy. They have a very cool apprentice named Eric Goodman whom is showing his skills and is very easy to work with. Ill never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Fallen Angel. Like I said, forget about those other places where no one smiles and has attitudes. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.
Review Source:If you are looking for run of the mill everyone has one of those tatts places THIS IS NOT THAT PLACE !!! Â
Fallen Angel has many very talented artists, these ladies and gents are extremely talented and full of vision and compassion for their art form . They are not just there doing a job.
I have been going here for many years to see Tattoo Pat and he has done all of my artwork thus far . Â Everyone in there is friendly and out going and truly care about their reputation and works of art. Â They are extremely clean and fun to be around. They all make you feel like part of the family.
They are very very well priced and have the best equipment for their walking works of art!
I have seen the art of all the people there and its incredible! Â Although I only sit with Pat and would feel like I was cheating on him if I went to anyone else, they are ALL talented ... Each has their own genre as it will but can do it all. Â
Walk in off the street or call and make an appointment they will do what it takes to make a client happy and comfortable. Â Not many establishments can say that these days!
If you want the highest quality and the very best of the best venture on it and meet these people and see for yourself ! Â You will not be sorry ! Â
I send all my friends and people who stop me on the street there. And no one has ever been disappointed ...
Love this place so much and Pat that I am on my way back in for more work in a week !
I stopped in here on a referral. The shop is beautiful, very clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I left my card & picked up his. Â I checked out the artwork in the portfolios.. What talented artists work there... truly amazing!
Once again the stars lined up, and I received a phone call from Tattoo Pat later that day, and we were able to schedule my appt for later that evening... Â Start to finish was only about 30 min. Â I figured for sure we were talking a week, two, three, etc, before he could see me. Â I was ecstatic!
What I chose is small to some, but I put a lot of thought into what I want to permanently put on my body. Â My first and only tattoo, until now, is in my bikini area, just for me, hidden from the world.
Now I wanted Pat to tattoo my hand! Â I can't tell you how huge this was for me. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and talented!
When I first showed him what I wanted, he laughed out loud and said that was not possible... I asked him to show me what IS possible... He is the artist, not me, I can appreciate the beauty and the talent, but not necessarily understand the mechanics of the art. Â We looked at things I liked, spoke for 5 min, and he came back with a drawing in under 3 min flat! Â It was perfect!
I understand most of the reasons he gave me for why what I wanted was not possible, but what he came back with was so close in my mind, that it was pretty much the same thing... Â I can't stop staring at it! Â I am in love with it!
I asked Pat how the pain was going to compare to my bikini area tattoo, and he told me that in his experience the hand and feet actually hurt a little less.... Not sure if that was the truth, but I was pretty nervous, and that really helped! Â I don't like pain in any form!
Fallen Angel gets 5 stars all around in my opinion! Â Thank you Tattoo Pat!
I got an industrial piercing and was experiencing some pain a few days later. I went back to the shop and talked with Carrie, the piercer. She was really nice and helpful and was able to see that the first one that was put in by the other piercer in the shop (I cannot remember his name) was too short. Due to my ear swelling, it wasn't expected to be too short, but she cleaned me up, gave me a new bar and didn't charge me a thing for it! I will definitely be coming back here for any more piercings!
Review Source:I love going to Bones at Fallen Angel for my artwork! "Tattoo Pat" has also done a few of my tattoos, but after a few hiccups with punctuality, I decided to stick with Bones, who is very reliable & started tattooing me 7 years ago. However, both are wonderful guys who do amazing work.
I love how clean the shop is & am comfortable going there & referring friends. I recommend everyone to Bones & anyone who I've recommended thanks me & remains a loyal customer.
I would have given this place a give star review because my tattoo came out amazing and the artist was great. I got my tattoo here a couple years ago and was looking to get another one. However every time I went back in no one knew any of the artists hours. I was looking  for the guy who did my previous one but he was never there. Every time I called he was also never there. It seemed like no one cared and no one wanted my money.
Review Source:They definitely are good. I got exactly what I wanted and the artist who shall remain unnamed ripped me off. I paid more for what I got. My tattoo is exactly what I pictured and he had to play around with a bunch of ideas before it was correct. I even asked him what's the price before he started working on me but he told me not to worry and seat me at his work area. I knew it was a bad sign.
They seem really busy and unwilling to take customers with our appointments. It was my sisters bday and we came in for her although I went first and we both expected to get it done there. However they didn't tell us until after they finished my tat. We were in there for a good 40 mins before he started on me. They could have said something.
All in all they do some good work just for a higher than high price. At least that's how they treated me.
Okay this is the deal..I almost did not come to this studio because of a bad 'rep' . It seems someone said something to someone else who in turn said something to yet another person and yadda, yadda, yadda. How can it be that such a professional studio has only had 2 review in two years. Wake up Sacramento!! This place will celebrate 10 years of being open this winter!! I went there and spoke with Carrie-nice name--nicer looking anyway I digress. After introductions and she assured me 'sir we don't do facial reconstructions here.' (Sir-thats a good looking woman's' term for us old guys-the sir annotates are as old as my dad so no I Â won't date you-ICK). So after a bit of discussion about what would work best and her explaining everything-twice-remember old guy here-and went from there. This studio is clean, the people are professional and friendly..and they had absolutely great music..R.I.P Amy Jade Winehouse! It is a shame that 5 stars is the best review that you can give a business deserve everyone of them. Carrie did tell me that they 'don't do facial reconstruction' but after leaving their studio- I had a smile on my face from dealing with a group of people that are far above the rest. The memory of my experience there will always make me smile-and-quite honestly that in itself is 'facial reconstruction' enough for me. Thanks Fallen Angel..Thank you Carrie.
Review Source:I got my first ever tattoo at Fallen Angel today! Â The experience was awesome. The staff was helpful to answer all of our questions on safety and cleanliness. Myk was my tattoo artist, and he did an amazing job. He worked really hard on the drawing prior to putting it on me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was on the top of my foot; which I hear is one of the most painful spots. It didn't hurt much at all. I did get exactly what I wanted! I would recommend Fallen Angel to anyone.
Review Source:I think this place is the best. The shop is very very clean. There is great art of all kinds everywhere you look. The place is like an art gallery. All the artists I've talked to here are congenial. There must at least one hundred different tattoo parlors I gladly pass on the way to Fallen Angel. Tom is the owner and my tattoo artist. He has always worked with me on my ideas and redrawn them if need be. He's a total pro! They've got state of the art equipment here and my tats have healed surprisingly fast with minimal to no scabbing! I'm addicted!
Review Source:the first time i went here, i got an industrial in my ear. Â i was 16&the guy who did my piercing made me feel comfortable about being scared&stuff. Â my ear is too small for the long bar but too big for the short bar so he bent a long bar into a really cool zig zag design&pierced it. Â it didn't hurt terribly bad&i didn't bleed so i was ok! Â it healed rather quickly too. Â about a year later, i'm not sure what happened but i lost my ball so i took out the piercing. Â for some reason i decided to wait to get a ball&bar&it closed up so i had to get it repierced! Â :( Â some girl pierced me&i bled, which was not that big of a deal but kind of scary. Â what i didn't notice was that she pierced through the same holes. Â everything seemed okay until i started growing this thing on my ear! Â i developed a keloid&had to take it out :(
