Forsaken is a Great tattoo shop with excellent artists. I've had all my tattoos done by Tony and he has done tattoos on my mothers and father. I would highly recommend him to anyone getting a tattoo wether it is their first or not. All employees of forsaken are genuinely caring, friendly and easy to get along with. 5 stars all the way.
Review Source:I am not new to tattoos. ...
I have lots of them myself.....that being said I am very picky about who does my ink...
Tony. ..has a great hand and smoother lines......
his work is top notch....so much so ...that my wife and I travel almost a hundred miles to get our work done here ......I would and have recommended for anybody looking for some great ink....I haven't seen a style tony can't pull off yet....
I and my wife will be back for more work
Tony did a cover up for me about a year and a half ago... It turned out great!!!! I lagged on getting my touch up (usually a cover up will need a touch up... Which Tony does for Free) I finally went in today to get it done. I am so happy with the result and already have Tony working on something else for me:) The shop was amazingly clean and had a wonderful inviting feel to it! I watched as Tony carefully set up, using gloves and opening every new package right there. Tanya, Tonys girlfriend/receptionist was so wonderful. She hung out and talked to me the whole time, which really took my mind off of the little pain:) I'll definitely be back!!! The location was great also... Just a short 10-15 minute drive from Lodi on Hwy 88... Along the main street running through Lockeford! Check them out!!!!
Review Source:On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to get my third tattoo done here. It is a sun on my right hip, to match my best friend's sun and to match my moon on my left hip. My friend got my moon tattooed on her right hip as well. We both got inked by Mike, and we had a great experience!
The shop is small, and very clean. We watched Mike wipe down all the surfaces, sterilize everything and get all the supplies ready, all while wearing gloves. He then changed gloves before getting to work.
My friend went first. He made sure we both were happy with the designs and the size and the placement of each tattoo. he had to redraw mine, because I wasn't happy with the shape, but the second time he drew it, it was awesome.
I had an issue with the placement at first, because it didn't look like it matched the placement of the moon I have. He had the other tattoo artist, Tony, and the receptionist/co owner (I think!) Tanya, look at it and give their opinions as well, and ended up moving it a bit until I was happy with it. Mike was very receptive of my concerns with the placement and shape of the drawing, and didn't make me feel stupid or like I was a pain in the ass for wanting something different, which was very nice. I've been into shops before where the artists act all high and mighty, but I didn't encounter that here!
He had us both lay down on the table for our tattoos, and that made it comfortable for us. My tattoo didn't take very long to do, and it was pretty painless. He had me take a look and see if I was happy, then he cleaned it up properly, put some ointment on it, and went over proper care instructions with us. He also informed us that he does one free touch up if any ink falls out while healing, and to come back in three weeks so he can take a look at the tattoos. It's not likely that either of us will be able to (I live in another state and she lives a few hours away), but it is nice none the less to know that he offers that to insure his work.
I also wanted to give extra recognition to Tanya for being so awesome. She made extra sure that my dress was covered up enough that no ink would get on it during the tattoo process, which was great. She seemed to actually care about us and our experience. They all did. She went over things with us and was just a general pleasure to interact with. Everyone in the shop was a pleasure to interact with!
My friend and I had a wonderful experience here, and I will probably be returning to this shop in the future. Thanks, guys!
