Glory Badges Tattoo

Back in early 2005 I went to Art with a Price (aka Art with a Pulse) to get a new piece. I had it drawn out already, just needed to get inked. When AWAP quoted me an outrageous figure like I was an idiot, I left and went to Glory Badges Tattoo which at the time was at 219 E. Platte Ave. (now 317 E. Platte, across the street from the stoner hangout, Freaky's).

That's when I met Maria (the shop's owner) and "Jackhammer" Jim (who has been tattooing since the 80's). They were very personable and fairly priced.

Since then I've gotten two half-sleeves done by Maria; one of which won 1st place at the Cripple Creek Tattoo Festival. I've also been tattooed by Jim and Jeff.

I have recommended numerous friends to Glory Badges over the years and everyone loves the shop and most are repeat customers now.

Maria is on the Health Department's tattoo safety board, so she is dedicated to cleanliness.
