Great Atmosphere here. Â Everyone is really nice. Â John is a great dude, laid back, down to earth, and seems to care. The reason for the low rating is as follows. Â I had an appointment with John a couple months away due to my work schedule. Â Well my job gave me 2 days off and a 10 day notice. Â I went in to see if I could get done earlier and Henry was there. He was great and I decided to book with Henry for today since John had no availabilities for my half sleeve. Â
Come today. Â I was nervous as this was my first tattoo in almost 10 years. Â So because these guys were so great, I went and purchased a dozen donuts to bring in from a local bakery for everyone. Â Everything was great, arrived at Noon like my appointment was. Â This is when the waiting began. Â I waited from 12 until about 1250 when Henry arrived back. Â
Henry finally greets me at about 110pm and says that he has some personal issue and isnt in the frame of mind to do any work. Â Totally respectable but I have been mentally preparing and was ready to go, a phone call would of been nice. Â So he tells me to hang on, and he starts drawing my half sleeve up. Â I went up to see how it was going and asked if he could make one of my tattoos a little smaller. Â He then just turns and tells me he just isnt into it today and he is sorry. Â Once again, that is his right and I prefer him to be honest as a tattoo is permanent. Â So thank you for that. Â I asked for a refund for my deposit and went down to Chicago as there was an artist who had a cancellation. Â
So while I am not happy given the wasted 20 bucks in donuts, 10 bucks in gas, and 2 hours of my time, I got what I wanted in the end at another studio. Â No hard feelings here, I am sure these guys are good at what they do, I have seen their work first hand. Â Just didnt appreciate the way things went down. Â Thanks
