My 15 year old finally was allowed to get her nose piercing. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in and they knew what they were doing. The lady had 20 years of experience and you could tell. She did it in less than 3 seconds....and my daughter said it did not hurt.

I've been pierced here, and have had 4 tattoos done here. I really like  the people and the art done at this shop. I've had one bad experience with one of the artists ( poor bedside manner)...... But the next time I went in, I found out that he was let go for being too hard on the customers. I thought that was pretty cool of Kelley (the owner) to kick the bad vibes out of her shop. I will definitely be back here to get my next tattoo!

Yesterday I went to get my septum pierced. I was extreamly nervous because my pain tolerance has dropped to next to nothinh. I was so nervous, when I went in and met my soon to be piercer, I didnt even hear what her name was. She is very beautiful. Full figured like me. Very soothing voice, and completly understanding of being nervous. She turned the music low at my request and talked me thru the piercing. It looks great, did not hurt much and was provided excellent,  through after care instructions.  If i get any other piercings THIS is who I'm going too FOR SURE. Skills, gentle hand, professional & calming. Thank you. Im very happy.

    Great piercer, great price!

I got a VCH piercing today at The Hole Thing and was so impressed with the entire experience I created a Yelp account just to write this review.
First and foremost, Kelley, who owns the shop and did my piercing, was awesome. She was super friendly and I felt totally comfortable with her, which was great, but more importantly  it was obvious she knew what she was doing.  I called at 2:50pm and when I arrived a little bit later, she had everything set up for me. When I got out of my car, it was 3:39. I happened to glance at the lobby clock AFTER the piercing was done and it was 3:48.

Secondly, I don't know about the tattoo prices but my piercing was anything but overpriced. I forgot to ask the price till the end, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was  almost 1/2 what I was expecting based on quotes from other shops.

And lastly, the setting was great. The decor had that artsy tattoo shop feel, but the piercing room was private and the equipment/set-up was professional, medical quality.

I was very satisfied with the results and the experience and would highly recommend Kelley to anyone seeking any sort of piercing.

To Thomas, who said they are overpriced cuz he paid $200 for black ink: You weren't paying for the ink, you were paying for the tattoo artist's time.  I too have a tattoo that is small and simple and solid black. So when I was seeking a tattoo artist, I didn't seek out the one with the most amazing tattoo portfolio. I sought someone who did simple designs in the blackest black. Because whether I went to the best of the best or a competent novice, my simple design was going to look about the same. The only difference would be that the master artist would charge more and rightly so. Why should he give a discount because it was an easy, single color tattoo when he could spend the same amount of time doing something challenging that in the end he would be proud of and add to his portfolio.  If anything, I'd expect them to charge more, partly because black takes a long time to fill in and is tedious, but mostly because if one has been doing tattoos for awhile, I imagine it they find it boring as shit to be doing yet another kanji tattoo.

I had Kelley (the owner) change out an ear piece for me from a 16 to a 12 gage. She was very professional and friendly. She thought it might hurt and put in a spacer but since I'd had the piercing for 10+ years it went in super fast and easy. She even knocked off $10 from the price posted.

Seems like good people and nice attitudes. Have heard good recommendations from friends who've had subdermals done with her specifically. I would ALWAYS recommend asking a piercer how long they've been working and what their experience is. Kelley is the owner and has obviously been in the industry for many years.
