HTC Body Piercing

HTC is completely fantastic. When I walked in, it was clean and open. I got my first facial piercing there today, a lip ring. I'm fairly uneducated on piercings and they guided me through the whole process. They made it easy for my father and I, explaining their policy for minors. Jacob was my piercer and he was very kind and helped me understand what was happening, making the whole process less anxiety inducing. He was also very professional and thorough in finding out what I wanted.  I'd heard that they were overpriced, but the total (jewelry and piercing) was 45 dollars, definitely reasonable for that great service. They told me what to expect, proper aftercare, and answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. Amazing experience, I'd love to get any future piercings here. :)

HTC is full of people who *really care* about the people they pierce and the job they do. After going to APP piercers elsewhere, I can't agree enough that the Association of Professional Piercers can certify practices but they can't certify attitude and it really comes through. All of the shops (Tempe, Uptown and North Phoenix) have been incredibly helpful and full of the coolest people who have taken awesome care of me, whether they did my piercing or not and they have always been there for followup if I had a question or concern. (After paying $$ for piercings in another state and then getting stuck with a different APP piercer who couldn't care less after it was done, I can't emphasize enough how valuable this is!!)

With most piercings, to get it done well is a bit costly. I'd rather pay the extra money ANY DAY to go to HTC where I know I will get it done well by KIND, knowledgeable professionals! THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

I took my 13 year old daughter to HTC to have a tragus piercing about 4 months ago. I love this place!!! Yes, I was a little scared to let her get the piercing since she had had a cartilage piercing on the top of her ear that we eventually had to take out because it was so swollen and gross. But all of the staff were extremely knowledgeable and made it a point to let my daughter know SHE was responsible for the aftercare. They gave her detailed explanations every step of the way during the piercing and detailed instructions for aftercare. A few weeks ago we needed the front of the earring replaced so it would not be visible for volleyball. We went in and they checked it out...scolded her a little cause they could tell she wasn't still soaking it and told us to come back in a week or two when there was no swelling. Again they went over proper care!! I really appreciate the attitude that if the kid is old enough to get the piercing they need to be kept accountable for the proper care. I HIGHLY recommend HTC!!!
