"AMAZING"!! There are seriously no words to explain the incredible work Hung is capable of doing (yet I'll try). "FANTASTIC" Beyond your imagination. I met with hung to show him my tattoo nightmare and share my ideas on a cover up. Hung listened to my ideas, shared some of his, and scheduled my appointment.. and on the wonderful day I awoke from my nightmare... Hung had FREE-HANDED the most beautiful, colorful, clean, wouldn't know it was a cover up tattoo if you didn't know, art on me that the only words I had to say were "THANK-YOU HUNG". You so rock. Listen: don't exhaust yourself or your account anywhere else... Hung will willingly meet and exceed all your expectations...Tattoos are Forever and as long as Hung and I are living... so are he and I ( Even the Husband is good with that..:) hee-hee ) Trust these words...Hung's work is "INCREDIBLE" He is "very reasonably priced" and so easygoing.. call for an appointment as he is open to availability but you definitely want to schedule your time slot. And just for the record...I will not.. as long as I live in San Diego... choose another Tattoo Artist. THANKS AGAIN HUNG!!
Review Source:My whole fam bam goes to Hung for all their tattoos, he did mine and my sister and we video tape it and joked around and Hung was amused and let us be while he did his work. Â His price is awsome! Â I just called today to see if his shop does permanment make-up ( they don't do eyeliner...bummer) but brows and lips with an awesome price quote! Â Being a Vietnamese girl, I support the Vietnamese small businesses but I am very picky because I am old fashion and I honor great customer support that gives you great quality without the mark up price. Â I haven't been back since 2 years, I am positive Hung's place is still the same great place to go get tats and have fun doing it! Smile...you're on camera :)
Review Source:OMG! Just got an awful tattoo of mine covered up by Hung & he did a beyond fantastic job!!! It looks better than I had ever imagined & now I'm so excited to show it off, rather than being embarrassed to even show my other old one. Hung free-handed the roses I got & made sure it was what I wanted & that I was completely positive on my decision. During the session he eased my nerves by talking to me & making sure I was doing ok.
Without a doubt I am definitely coming here for any other tattoos I have in mind, & I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a professional & beyond satisfactory tattoo!

Loved this tatoo parlor. I walked in and was helped on the spot. Hungs daughter did a simple cute tattoo on my hip for a good price, she was super nice and I was in and out. Hung hooked up my best friend  the next day with a cover up tattoo. He did an AMAZING job! I'm definitely coming back to get a cover-up done.
Review Source:I came here for 3 of my tattoos. Satisfied and affordable each time. Uncle Hung is super nice, funny, and easy to talk to while getting a tattoo. He reminds me of that one cool uncle that your parents are afraid of that you will be a rebel to be cool like him. I've had friends come here and love his work and are itching to come back again. I like that whatever you try to describe to him and you are unsure about something, he just knows what you want and delivers more than what you expected. I have a back piece of a phoenix and I'm amazed that he used a stencil to give you an idea of what's going on the back but he freehand a good portion of my tattoo and  it's like wow. I'm just happy every time I leave here.
There's a tiny small private lot so parking is difficult. But you can park on the street, some have meters and some spots don't.
His shop is hidden in a center on the upper level and is right across the jack in the box.
Trish has done 3 of my tattoos and I've walked away from each one completely satisfied. I wouldn't go to anyone else for lettering because she's so precise, competent and affordable. Not only is she extremely funny and easy to get along with, she's a perfectionist at heart. She won't let me off the tattoo chair without making sure that her work is to her satisfaction, no matter how much pain I've endured and that's what I respect the most.
I've gotten a quote that takes up majority of my left ribcage in Old English font, 2 Korean names on my right ribcage and a bunny silhouette on my left ankle. She also touched up my dove tattoo on my right ribcage.
I have referred my sister, boyfriend and best friend to them and would stand behind their quality of work 100%.
I have been long over due to write a review for Hung's Tattoo Parlor. I received my first tattoo from here and love it. I did tons of research online and read lots of reviews before making a decision on where to get my tattoo done. After looking threw his portfolio online and talking with him over the phone I made the decision to drive 3 hours just to have him tattoo me. It was well worth the drive from Ft. Irwin. I have had many people compliment what a great job was done. He was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I will be coming back to him again once I figure out what I want for my second tattoo.

She did an amazing job!! We got script tattoos (not matching don't worry) and one was in old English and the other in simple cursive. She was quick, precise, and easy to talk to. Review Source:All I can say is that he is awesome! Almost everyone i know gets their tattoos done by him and they all agree..he is that awesome! I needed help drawing out what I wanted, showed him a few ideas, and he patiently puts together a really nice design.
He's also a cool person to talk to, since distractions are helpful when you have a needle drilling its way into your skin for half an hour.
After all, a tattoo is pretty much permanent so you really have to trust your tattoo artist. And Hung is the only one i would ever go to if i decide to get another one. I highly recommend him!!
Hung is the man! If you want ink - then this is the only tattoo parlor you should consider. Â I had tattoos done from a few different shops before being recommended to Hung. Â I was very impressed with how professional and courteous everyone was - not what you would normally expect from a tattoo parlor. Â
Hung did my 1/2 sleeve in one sitting and I can't say enough about how great my arm looks. Â If you are getting a tattoo - you want to make sure the end product is something you will be proud of and you should not settle for anything less than the best - after all this will be permanent. Â
Parking could be a challenge and the shop is a little difficult to find but these are minor inconveniences to quality you will receive at Hung's Tattoo Parlor.
This is definitely the BEST tattoo parlor. Hands down.

You definitely get more for your money here compared to others tattoo places.

Hung's Tattoo Parlor is the best! The first day I went into his shop to discuss about my first tattoo, he greeted me and made me feel comfortable. I was able to get an appointment the next day, and he did an amazing job with my first tattoo, which is all lettering. His daughter is also really good with lettering as well.
After my first couple of visits to his shop, I couldn't wait to bring my friends in, and they all got something done and are extremely pleased. I just recently finished my quarter sleeve by Hung, and I absolutely love it. The shading of the clouds and doves came out way better than I could of ever imagined! Worth every dollar spent, always let Hung put his special touches into your ink.
Had my first tattoo done here and I love his work! I scanned a picture from my mom's (what I call) Laotian Bible. I must say, its beautiful! teehee~^^. My cousin also came here to get his tats done also.
-The place was clean and well kept.
-Books and walls filled with tattoo ideas.
-Staff was friendly
-Parking is a bit bad though, its located in a small plaza.
Hung's is great. Excellent artist. I grew up in Diego and heard about his work through others that grew up in the area. So i had him do a coverup for me on my bicep. The cover-up had to be big so he did a half sleeve for a great price, all freehand too. I'm definitely going back to him for the rest of my ink work from now on.

I found out a lot of my friends or friend of friends come here to Hung's shop for their tattoo, that's just how great he is. It's a nice little shop upstairs, clean and safe. Hung takes his business seriously with keeping the place clean and welcoming. I'm glad my first tattoo was done by Hung and he was fast! Haha, he kept me calm and said I did well for my first tattoo. If I decide on another tattoo I'll definitely come back to Hung's shop. He is busy and has happy clients all the time, booked one right after another. Well known popular tattooist.
