Illustrated Man Tattoo Studio

I went here to get my right half sleeve done. I already have a left half sleeve so I assumed the artists here knew I was serious. I had my idea already too. I was not greeted as I walked in. After a few minutes I was finally told that a specific artist would help me and be with me in a minute. I looked through his portfolio and I was not impressed. He finally helped me and unfortunately I don't remember his name bc I'd tell everyone to stay away from him. My last sleeve took 12 hours and cost about 800. This clown tells me he can do it in 3 hours for 300 dollars. I said and I quote," that's really fast." He says I work fast. That's an unrealistic # of hours. Well I made an appt with him. I enter a week later on my appt date and time just to not be greeted again and to find my artist in the middle of a tattoo, a big tattoo. He says he'll be done in 5 min. OK. I wait for 20 min. Still no where close to done. Remember this is the really fast guy. So I ask him again I he's close to done. Completely ignores me. I storm out and as I leave say fuck this place you just lost out on my business. I'm in a profession with people with a lot of tattoos. I'll be getting more. I wish the owner knew how his people. Treat customers. This place lost out on all my money and as many people as I can tell not to go there. I get asked a lot where I got my ink. Fuck this place. Go to irezumi. Oh and the work space is crowded and there are no walls. DO NOT get ink here. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Hi just got back from illistrated man got forearm piece they were very friendly quick proffessional also reasonably priced. Tattooist was a vetran and was great chat.Im not new to tattoo's have 14 Navy 15 years and Illlistrated Man was Probly the best Place Ive been too and clean.

I had been contemplating my second tattoo for months, so when I played hooky from work, I knew it was time.  I went in on a Tuesday around lunchtime thinking it would be the best time for walk-in.  I spoke with Jack, who said we could get started right away.  At that point, I was kind-of hoping for a wait so I could puss out.  Jack came right out and said they may seem pricey but you get what you pay for.  I was actually more comfortable knowing they weren't cheap.  If I wanted a cheap tattoo, I'd go to that guy in the unmarked van.  I knew what I wanted (my maiden name on my inner wrist done in script).  He drew it up quickly and it was exactly what I wanted!  Not too big or showy but classy & detailed.  It only took about 5 minutes (seemed like 15 because I'm a wuss) and he bandaged me up & sent me on my way!  I will definitely go back for any future tattoo needs.
