THE INK STATION

I have recently gotten several piercing from The Ink Station and would recommend anyone looking for a piercing or tattoo to go here first!!!!   Very professional and courteous and sterile.  I have been to other places for piercings and tattoos and will NEVER go anywhere else but here again!!!!

After getting blowed off at another tattoo place in town, my husband and I went to The Ink Station where we met Chris, Hud and Slideshow.  Chris and Hud were very helpful with drawing the picture and vision I had in my head.  My husband got one of his tattoos extended by Slideshow and I got my tattoo by Hud.  I must say that they keep everything very clean, they all do an AWESOME JOB with a key eye to detail and everyone there is very down to earth.

If you could go anywhere in Abilene I would definitely would recommend THE INK STATION over all of the other tattoo places in town!

I got my third tattoo here like 3 years ago. It was a big tattoo covering a large portion of my back. I had an appointment with Chris. First I wanted to get it on my side but the design that the girl made wouldn't fit so he suggested that I get it on my back. I had to get the outline and color done on separate days because he was pushing so deep that I was very sore. When I went back to do the color he had to go over the whole outline again with a thicker outline to try and cover up the blowouts he made.
After I healed I learned that I was allergic to some of the ink that was used to some of it was rejected by my body. When I went in to get it touched up they told me that I had to come in on Monday evening to get that done. When I came back on Monday Chris was all booked up and instead of having someone else fix it or making an appointment they told me to come back next Monday. Basically they had no intention on ever fixing it.
I had to basically redo the entire tattoo somewhere else and since most of it was scar tissue it sucked. I would not recommend this place unless you want to pay for someone else to fix it later!
