GO to this tattoo shop. Â I got my portrait of my calico cat done last night by Gilbert and he did an amazing job. Â Everyone I've shown (and I've shown everyone I can) abosoultely loves it. Â It came together so nice and I'm really proud to have it. Â He took his time, was professional, friendly, and accomidating for breaks, etc.
I don't know what the previous negative review was about--- I literally read it before I went to get mine worked on and was a little apprehensive but I went anyways and am SO glad I did. Â Everyone there was friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in. Â The place was clean and looks professional. Â It's not some random shady tattoo shop, these guys actually KNOW what they're doing and do a great job. I met Manuel and he was incredibly nice and didn't give off an unprofessional vibe to me or my boyfriend who was with me. Â There was also a couple girls in there getting tattood other than me, and there was no unprofessional comments or conversations being made, so ladies, don't be afraid to come here. Â People came around to check out eachother's progress but I don't personally find that annoying---you're at a tattoo shop---that's what people do isn't it?
I will definitely be back and tell everyone to go here if they are looking to get work done.
Recently finished three sessions with Manuel doing a koi on my back (see photos). Â I couldn't be happier with it. Â Being a cover-up, I was worried it might be spotty or obvious, but you can hardly tell anything was ever there. Â I gave him the idea and he ran with it. Â I was impressed. Â The studio is clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly. Â I have to give a B- on professionalism, though. Â All in all, our sessions totaled about 9-10 hours and there was rarely a time when somebody wasn't in the room watching the work or just bullshitting with the artist. Â There was one point where 5 people were hanging out in his room (about 8'x8') just shootin the shit while I'm in the chair with the needle in my back....really?
