Dana is the most phenomenal tattoo artist I have ever encountered, and she is a really amazing person as well. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this woman both as an artist and an individual. I have I don't even know how many hours of tattoo work (two full sleeves, a back piece, and several other miscellaneous pieces) and I will never go to another tattoo artist. She is my tattoo artist for life.

I have two large tattoos by Dana - a half sleeve medley and a Betty Page pin-up on my side. Both are incredible.
For the half-sleeve, I came to Dana with very little direction - I had only the notion that my tattoo should look great and have a classic feel. Armed with miscellaneous magazine cutouts and vague descriptions of things I love, Dana whipped up the perfect half-sleeve in one take.
For the pin-up, I came with a Betty Page painting, but wanted her not in the nude, and with a different facial expression. She's utterly perfect - beautiful, not sultry, and wearing a red dress and shoes that are artistic, but so real one could almost touch them. Dana has an amazing ability to convey texture.
My tattoos includes bright colors, heavy shading, even a chrome finish - and all look fantastic. I know artists who specialize in specific styles, but no artist comes close to her varied talent.
If that weren't enough, Dana is incredibly fast. I wouldn't think of bargain shopping when it comes to tattoos, but I was stoked to discover she was way faster than other artists, a clear indication of her natural talent.
Further, Dana is an amazing painter - especially of motorcycle art. I own two of her pieces and both are stunning to visitors and to me, even after all the time I've spent staring at them.
Another thing I love about Dana is her no-nonsense approach to where she'll tattoo, what she'll tattoo, and the ink she uses. She's got a serious side where it matters, but is as down-to-earth as they come. And her office staff - resident distractors extraordinaire - are as fun as she is.
I'd recommend Dana to anyone (and do often).

She is amazing artists and a great person, Her tattoo shop is very welcoming and comfortable, None of the 5 guys tattooing and looking scary stuff. Her awesome art fills the shop and because you are the only client you are the center of her attention. I've had her do a custom piece for my upper arm and a cover up for my forearm and both turned out amazing, I get more compliments on the colors she uses then on any of my tattoos done else where. I can honestly say I WILL NEVER go anywhere else ever again. Her prices are fair and her work is amazing! Â My body is my temple and I only let Dana decorate it!!
Way over priced plus had to wait for  several months for an apointment. I wish i would of never let her touch my arm. I really thought i researched my tattoo artist this time boy was I wrong she works very slow for $180.00/ hr. and cant get her colors right the picture i gave her was a actual photograph of a sunrise and rainforest's what i got looks like something out of a childs coloring book. I wish it was done in crayola marker so i could wash this shit off. If your looking for high quality tatto work dont let her website fool you keep looking.
Review Source:Dana is fantastic at her work. She put a beautiful angle on my leg. It goes from the knee to the ankle and it is amazing. Everyone that has seen it, loves it. She redid a Tattoo on my back and the colors stand out so beautiful. She has covered my husbands arms with pin ups and other beautiful  art. Don, Alex and  babies (dogs) are all there to entertain you and they do make you feel comfortable.  They make you feel like your part of their family, not just a customer. Review Source:Dana redid the rose on my back this summer. Â She took the drawing I gave her and did a great job turning it into a coverup for my orginal rose tattoo. Â I finally have the tattoo I always wanted with wonderful shading and color. Â She spends a lot of time planning and figuring out what she believes will work best so she can get it right the first time, which is pretty important with a tattoo. Â I'm a one tattoo kind of girl, but if that ever changes, I would only go to her.
Review Source:I was a difficult customer. I cried and wiggled through out my tattoo. Dana was kind and talking me through it. I was blubbering and apologizing haha. I normally never cry during a tattoo but my muscles were sore from climbing hills all day in sf so the tattoo needle for an hour and a half made my leg nerves jump and it made me squirm. I made it through it and Dana was extremely patient especially since I was being a pain in the ass. Her doggies in the back are well behaved and friendly and besides the pain I had a lot of fun. Dana did an excellent job on my Octopus the shading and detail is phenomenal!!! I have never been so happy with my tattoo!! I highly recommend! :)
Review Source:Dana is AMAZING!!! My brother and i have both been going to her for years. She is so good that we make the trek from both Fremont, and  Brentwood all the way to Santa Rosa for a session.
Her coloring is always the brightest, her detailing is always the cleanest and she really is just an all around good artist.
She has done two of my tattoos and pretty much all of my brothers. Recently she did two full calf sleeves on my brother and whenever we go out he gets ppl asking about them.
Honestly, if you are looking for a GREAT piece of art that will last forever then you need to go see Dana. But be forewarned, she is booking months upon months in advanced so youll want to call early. Although price is sometimes a lot, it doesnt feel like it when you see the ork she does.
Keep in mind you get what you pay for so if you pay top dollar the work will show.
