I had two totally different piercings done here awhile back, my bellybutton, and a lower back surface piercing, and they even took a look at my botched septum piercing from another shop and gave me some suggestions for getting it redone.
They're clean and safe, and pretty standard as far as shops go. Â My bellybutton is perfect still, but my back piercing unfortunately rejected after about 6-8 months, which is pretty common, and I was warned that it would by several piercers.
I love this place and it's been around since 1994. And I found out about it around 2007. I was introduced to the shop by another Santa Claritan who had gotten a P.A. done by him.
John Fitterer is one of the most amazing piercers I've ever met, very friendly, and his wife is just as welcoming. More importantly, is his skill, I'll never go to anyone else to put a hole in my body. A very sterile and eclectic environment also. Â They've got a gurney for a table! A Tiki/Cannibalistic/Metal/Horror style decor. I love it. Â Who would've thought an amazing piercer/piercing studio would be nestled in a crappy place like Newhall (or actually Santa Clarita in general). Â
I can't really knock off a star because this place is amazing, but the time and scheduling can be a little off because since this store is family run, and they have a little kid. So, sometimes the store will be closed and sometimes not. But most of the time, they're on schedule and opened. So be sure to make a phone call/appointment before heading over.
Better than Artifact anyway, anyday.
