Clean clean clean! These folks are major accommodating and friendly! Shop is beautiful and clean. Everyone was so friendly and Phil did amazing work - he was so patient with me. Lines were crisp and clean. My friends have also been here for larger pieces and were equally as happy. Thanks to everyone there for making it a wonderful experience!

Ever  think you'd like to do something special to remember an important date, event or person in your life? A lot of people do so by getting a tattoo. The thing to remember about a tattoo is, for all intents and purposes, it's forever.
That's why it's so important to look for reviews, ask friends then actually go to the shops and ask for a tour of the place. Ask to see some of their artist portfolios. Think carefully and do your homework. I GUARANTEE if you follow these steps you WILL wind up getting your important tattoo at Kings Avenue. GUARANTEED!
Besides world-class, world-famous artists, this place is so cool and so CLEAN, you'd think you were in a Park Avenue plastic surgeons office if it weren't for all the cool tattoo art on the walls and the kick-ass music playing. Seriously, DO NOT get a tattoo anywhere else (except maybe their other shop in NYC) without checking out Kings Avenue Professional Tattooing. Their manager Jen is so cool and friendly. Tell her Mark sent you.
    Peace

5+++ stars! Whether you have never gotten a tattoo, have a few, have a bunch this is THE place.

The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and clean. The staff and artists are helpful and friendly but most of all professional.

Justin did my monarch butterfly which I wanted to be classic and super detailed. His work exceeded my expectations - see pics.

I couldn't imagine getting a tattoo somewhere else. My friend said the price seemed high (butterfly was $400) but I definitely disagree because of the level of precision this team has. You definitely get what you pay for.

One note: be sure to book in advance some of these artists have a long a$$ wait. I was very lucky that someone cancelled thier appointment with Justin otherwise I'd be waiting a YEAR. To confirm you need to physically go there and leave a $100 deposit.

I'm getting a quote tattoo soon from guest artist Katie Sellergren who is awesome at lettering. I will post the pic when it's done.

I have been getting my ink done at Kings Ave in Massapequa for a 4 years now and I would not go to any other spot again.  I have over 100 hours of work on me and the majority of it was done by artist Brian Paul at Kings.  The quality of the shop is second to none and each artist is just that, an artist not just a tattooer.  Don't expect to walk in here and get a bargain price, you get what you pay for and if you want the best work around then spend the cash and start going to Kings ave.  BEST SHOP IN NEW YORK!!!

Nice clean place, professional staff.  Justin Weatherholtz did an AMAZING job on my tattoo.  Not one day goes by that I do not get a compliment on it.  I highly recommend this studio.  I will most definitely be going there again!!

Every Tattoo artist at Kings Ave is a heavy hitter. Long Island's own Mike R. as previously stated is a world renown Artist. Matt is a well established artist as are the others.

I can only recommend this shop. I've been getting work done around the country for half of my life. Part of the allure is getting work done at different shops. Whatever room is left on me is getting completed at Kings Ave. The shop has everything I need. All the artists are just that insanely good. All the styles are done right here- everything from traditional Americana to Japanese all top notch at this shop.

The shop itself is really nice. There's Flashwork adorning the walls from Ed Hardy, Chris Garver, and Griz. Which is pretty Sick to see in real life. every artist's section has a nice private room. You can't beat that it's right up the road from All American either!

I have gotten couple of tattoos from Grez. He's an amazing artist AND an amazing person. No snobbishness in this tattoo shop. Grez and Mike really made me feel real welcomed.

First off, Grez's style is awesome and he's real fast with his tattooing. The sense of colors that he uses are really great that I still get compliments on how bright the colors are on my skin. It was hard to get an appointment with Grez, I had to wait couple of months but it was totally worth the wait. I would actually be sketched out by an artist that you can just do a walk in with (had to learn the hard way, I got a tattoo where the ink bleed thru my capillaries so now I have a perma-bruise).

Going to LI from NYC was not as bad either. I don't really have a reason to go out to LI ever so it was a nice little trip I got to take out the the strong island. From Massapequa train station, you can take a cab for like $5 to the tattoo shop. You can walk it but will def take like 20 mins, don't forget you are in LI not the city so stores are spread out and you can't just hail a yellow cabbie on the street.

Anyways, totally recommend Kings Avenue Tattoo. Grez is one of my favorite tattoo artist...as an artist and as a person, he is grrrreat!

Worth the drive to Long island and the price.

Somehow I managed to score two appointments with Grez on the same day (thanks to a cancellation)... basically he cleared the entire day for my fiance and I. Otherwise he is booked for months and months in advance.

we drove in from Manhattan... give yourself some time.. the traffic can get gnarly out there.

Best tattoo experience ever. perfectly spotless, comfortable....felt like home.

Grez is awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. the sketches were perfect right off the bat, hes got a light hand and works quickly but without rushing. We got exactly what we wanted.

    I loved it.

If you want a quality tattoo......go here without a doubt!

Had some new work done by Justin and I couldn't be happier.
Kings Ave was clean, professional, and the ink turned out great.

Make an appointment well in advance cuz they are booked solid,
    but  worth the wait.

If you really have patience try and score an appt. with owner
    Mike Rubendall (He's world renown).

Mad props to the staff at Kings Ave.
