First let me say, I have not gotten any work done here.. YET. I walked in randomly this past weekend and have been looking for an artist for a pretty complex piece, my FIRST complex piece actually so I've been a bit nervous. When we walked in there was a guy sitting on the couch who immediately greeted us upon walking in. He asked what we were looking for and I told him my ideas.
He introduced himself, George Lefler, and told me to look at the portfolios laying on the table. As I looked through his book, my excitement grew because his style if perfect for what I'm looking for and he does mostly custom work. I explained my idea in detail and he showed me a frame that I had described perfectly to him. He was so understanding, and just awesome in general. He said for $50 he can draw out the sketch and we can start from there. He charges about $125 an hour, and his work looks fantastic.
Oh and they do take walk ins as long as they aren't already busy, but if you can make an appointment it would be helpful for them I'm sure.
I'll update this review after I get work done, but my initial thoughts are nothing but great!!
