I got my tragus pierced there today and I had a wonderful experience. Roy was so nice and relaxed about everything so it put me at ease (this was my first time getting a tattoo or piercing alone.) I was a little nervous at first but right when I walked in I got a great vibe and my nerves went away. The place was extremely clean and Roy was thorough. He went through the cleaning process with you and made sure any questions were answered. The piercing itself was not as painful as I was thinking it was going to be. It was like any other piercing I have experienced. Roy told me every step he was doing and told me when to breathe. This shop may have been a little more expensive than some tattoo shops but I felt it was worth it. My piercing was $50, which included the jewelry. I wish I had cash on me so I could give him a tip. Sorry Roy! You're awesome!
Review Source:Went here to get a new nose ring. Excellent selection of jewelry, very clean, very friendly and professional. Most other shops just ring you up for the jewelry and send you on your way. The guy (I assume the owner) took the time to adjust the nose ring, sterilize and fit it- excellent customer service.
Review Source:Never had a piercing before so I might not be able to say that this is the best place, but it sure seems like it. The guy was extremely knowledgeable, did a great job, everything was sterilized, and he was funny as hell. I'd go back just to say hi.
I got a belly piercing, and it was nice that he has some regular jewelry for pretty cheap, but then he has some more expensive jewelry if you want it. I got one that he ordered from socal that's handmade and really gorgeous, and totally worth it. The actual price of piercing was like $15 plus whatever jewelry you get, so it's honestly not expensive at all.
For anyone getting their navel pierced, I can personally say it was no big deal. I thought it would be really painful, but it honestly wasn't.
Hands down, this is the best piercing shop I've ever visited. The shop itself (new-ish location on McConnell) is great; everything is squeaky-clean and both the waiting area and the piercing room itself are well-lit.
Roy is super professional. He's friendly, courteous, and very communicative about the entire process. I've been wanting to get re-pierced for a while and I finally decided on a whim to do it. This was my third time getting it done - I had to take out my jewelry twice before for various reasons - so I knew overall what to expect. What I wasn't expecting was how long Roy would spend making sure the placement was perfect. He took at least twice as long as either of the two others who did it before, if not three times as long, which I really appreciated. (And yes, I'm completely happy with the placement.) He reminded me to breathe during and after, and he encouraged me to take my time getting up - no immediately rushing me out the door, like I've experienced at some places. He cares about his work and takes the time to do things properly. I've brought one friend in to get pierced since then, and I'll be back myself.
I love loops and Pierces. I first went there when i was 17 and got my belly button pierced. I have been back many times since then. Roy has done all my piercings and I wouldn't go to anyone else. The shop is very clean, he is always very nice and makes you feel comfortable with whatever he is piercing. I would definately recommend this place and go see Roy. He's great.

I got my nostril pierced and my friend got her nipple pierced. He is very professional and funny and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience or rushed at all (like some other shops do). Â He explained everything in detail regarding after-care. They had quality jewelry and I did not even tear up during the procedure. Â I seriously think getting a booster shot or blood drawn is more painful then getting a nose piercing from Roy. Fabulous technique. Bravo! Highly recommend.

I was impressed by both locations. Â The new place has tons of natural light, is airy and beyond clean. Â The staff is helpful but not pushy, honest and upfront but not rude. Â Nice rotating art on the walls.
I would get another piercing there.
I got my industrial here. The piercer was totally awesome and funny. He made me feel really comfortable and worked carefully but quickly so the pain was minimal. He answered all my questions and joked with me and my friend. I felt a little light headed after so I laid down and was brought water. Super nice place, awesome piercer.

Review Source:This is the only place I will get pierced. I have had over 10 piercings by the current piercer. The shop is always very clean and everything is in sterile pouches. I had my bellybutton pierced in another shop and now is scarred because it wasn't properly done. The piercer here is super professional and explains everything until you really understand. I always recommend this shop to everyone I know, and I have yet to hear a bad thing said about the piercer or his shop. I noticed the review that mentioned that they are overpriced. I can see how this could be seen, but with this shop, you get what you pay for. High quality jewelry is a little more pricey. On my last visit I learned that the shop is now offering some jewelry at lower prices so that it is affordable to everyone. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a piercing.

Review Source:I have only been here once when I was a freshman at SSU which was about 10 years ago. I came here to get my eyebrow pierced with my friend that wanted his tongue pierced. I wanted my tongue pierced as well but my parents would have cut me off so fast that I wouldn't have time to spit it out. Anyway, my friend ended up chickening out but I still got my eyebrow pierced. I remember thinking that this is a real piercing place when the employee had plugs so big in his ears that there was barley enough skin left to hold them up.
Everyone there was very friendly and professional. They disinfected everything and the process was fairly painless. I eventually had to grow up and take out my piercings but I would recommend this place to anyone in the Northbay looking for some body art.
