Jake Masri did a portrait of my mom on my forearm. It took quite a while, (around 6 hours first session and a few hours second sesh). But he did a great job. He makes you feel really comfortable and blasts music while he works. On top of that, he charged me less then he initially quoted. He wont over charge anyone, he charges for the work he does. And though he's pretty young, he does great portraits. One thing I will say, Is be careful and very specific about the shading around the tattoo. I feel like the shading is pretty heavy for my little forearm but I know he did it expecting me to get more ink done around the portrait. However I just want the portrait there for now so i wish there was very minimal shading around it. Its not too big of a deal, Because the portrait looks great and exactly like the pic.
Tips: Bring a LARGE, DEATAILED CLEAR pic of the portrait you want. You want to easily see the lines in there eyes
Make sure to use UNSCENTED lotion with NO ALCOHOL (I use walmart brand face moisturizer)
Only put enough A&D and lotion to cover it, DONT drown it
I would talk to them about using the darkest ink they have so the tattoo doesnt fade (mines kinda faded green-ish now)
Price differs so I wont say exactly but I payed around $250-350

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PIERCINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! dec 2010 i got snake bites. the guy did a good job, didn't get his name. oct 2011 my jewelry broke and i took the piercing out. so today 11/2/2011 i went back to get my lip re-pierced. i know a couple of the guys there so i trust them more than any other shop.. or DID trust them. i walked my happy ass over there to spen $35 on getting my lip re-pierced since their jewelry is so cheap it broke. YA! BIG MISTAKE. the fucker that pierced it last year pierced it again. he fucked up and had to stick a needle in THREE MOTHER FUCKING PAINFUL TIMES! he probably was too high to get it right the first 2 times. idk what it's going to look like after this horrid swelling goes down. he eventually gave it to me for $24. i know he felt bad, but if you can't pierce while ur high, THEN DON'T PIERCE AT ALL. idk about the tattoos. but i will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go back here for ANYTHING. if i could give it no stars i would do so cuz they don't deserve one star.
