To be completely honest, I don't know about all of the artists here but I was not impressed by the work that I have seen done. I got a tattoo that is just OK, from here. I probably should have waited but my normal artist is booked out three to four months, Ian White in Nashville. He's the best, I'll probably just have him go over the shading and make it look a lot better.
I have to agree with Ally, that Lucky is a good artist but he has some people employed here that shouldn't be anywhere near a tattoo shop, let alone actually inking people. Tattoos are an investment, but for what you get here I would take your money and drive down to Nashville and hit up Black 13 or Kustom Thrills. I have had awesome work done here and seen others who are completely and utterly satisfied as well.
i learned the hard way that you get what you pay for with tattoos. Â which is why i go to luckys.
my husband got a full sleeve done by lucky and it looks AMAZING! Â i got a half sleeve done and love it! Â the whole shop is filled with really awesome ppl. Â lucky is SUPER passionate about his art and is really dedicated to getting things right for is clients. Â i have an appointment lined up with another artist in his shop, amber, who is also an AWESOME artist.
do not be discouraged by the cost he quotes you!! Â you will quickly learn that tattoos are an INVESTMENT and totally worth the money you put into them. Â it is more worthwhile to wait until you can AFFORD a good tattoo, than to rush into a tattoo that you can afford at the time. Â trust me.
head down, bring your ideas and lucky will hook you up with the right artist for you. Â cross my heart.
