Main St Tattoo

I love main st tattoo! My only shop.

I got my first tattoo here when I was just 18. Yep. I parked my 10 speed next to all the hogs and strolled right in. I had a xerox of Sonic Youth's evol cover (it was an image of Lung Leg, a still taken from Submit to Me Now, a film by Richard Kern) and I got it on my left arm, just below the t-shirt line.
That tattoo came with me to Florida and then Georgia, and only the coolest of the cool knew what what it was...but it always got me in places.

This shop was pro before the boutiques of today were around. There was no fluorescent overhead lights and no bad classic rock radio. They were playing Syd Barrett era Floyd and I totally fell into the tattoo trance.
Back then you only got A tattoo, no sleeves.

I plan on getting  another piece there someday.
