"That's the prettiest tattoo I have ever seen!" "The butterfly looks real!" "Can I take a picture of your tattoo to show my mom? She'd love it!" "I love your tattoo!" Yup, so do I. I still can't stop looking at it and admiring what a professional, fantastic, and perfect job that Kayla did for my very first tattoo at the age of 45. (Note: I highly recommend waiting until you are absolutely sure of what tattoo you want permanently put on your body. In the Navy I was going to get Winnie the Pooh on my ankle but a true friend convinced me that wasn't one I wanted to explain to my grand children in my seventies.) My tattoo is of the Cross of Christ with a Tiger Lilly butterfly and 2 Cor.5:17 to help me never forget the price He paid to set me free. The butterfly signifies transformation and it's also the state butterfly of North Carolina where I am so grateful to be back. :) EVERYONE at the tattoo office was friendly and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean and that's a group effort that I witnessed. Kayla... So friendly. So personable. So knowledgeable. So encouraging. So honest. A perfectionist. (Which is normally not a good thing, but a plus for a tattoo artist. Even when I gave the go ahead for the bible verse under the cross, she said, "No, I don't like it I will do it again." The fourth attempt was the winner.) How much would I recommend her? I live in North Carolina, but I am contemplating going back to Fort Collins, CO for tattoo #2 to be done by Kayla. She is passionate about her tattoos and her clients and I would highly recommend her! I am still loving it. Sylvie
Review Source:Got my first set of tattoos here from Sooz. Â She was excellent. Â Answered all my questions, worked with me, and was just a good person to talk to while getting inked. Â I thought the whole staff was friendly and professional. Â I originally thought these were to be my only tattoos....but with this experience, maybe not!
Review Source:I have been considering getting tattoos for a while but just when I decide on something a new thing comes along that makes me reconsider the design. The latest to come along that I was enthralled with were the UV tattoos. I simply love how they glowed under a blacklight. I already made my mind up on what I wanted and everything. I wanted to do some comparison shopping though on prices. I went to two other tattoo shops and none of them said that they did the UV tattoos. They didn't explain why they just said they did not do them. I went to Millennium and spoke with the gentleman at the front counter and asked if they did UV tattoos. He too said no but went on to explain that they did not do them because of possible health related problems. I asked what the concerns associated with the tattoo were and he said that they were too new and that it is not known yet as to the long term effects on one's health. With traditional tattoos the ink is natural that is used on your skin but with UV tattoos phosphorous is instead used to make the ink glow which may cause trouble later down the road. They were just too new to know for sure. He also mentioned that with UV tattoos that they can be seen under other kinds of light and are not entirely invisible under regular light as I was led to believe. He then went on to say that with the UV ink as the tattoo gets older the lines, instead of being clear or white can take on a muddy color.
I have to give major kudos to the gentleman here for informing me on this! I researched online about these tattoos and only saw pictures of them and very little else as to these concerns attached to them.
Once again I reconsider what ink to get but I will probably fall back on one of my ideas I had before I saw the UV tattoos. I don't want ink that may turn into a tumor later! Thanks for the awesome information Millennium!
Chuck Maple has done 2 tattoos for me, one on my foot and the other on my side. Â He is the most professional and talented tattoo artist that i have ever been to. Â He gives great suggestions and the tattoos came out looking exactly the way that I wanted them. Â I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
Review Source:I like millennium 2 a lot. The majority of the work I've had done has been at millennium stores and I think they have a very good balance of safety, hygiene, friendly and creative staff, and competitive pricing. I can't remember all the piercings I've had here, but I can try: an orbital in my left ear, a regular ole' ring in my upper right ear, two eyebrow piercings, (one, I will admit, was not done as well as it could have, it was just shallow, but when redone it was fine) and 2 nape piercings (I wanted 2 more, I didn't need one redone). I've also had jewelry changed out for spacers or removed here free of charge, quickly and painlessly. If you''re getting pierced, go with Steffan, and if getting tattooed, I've seen Suz do nice work.
Review Source:I've been to a few different tat shops, and I always seem to come back here. Â Their new location is awesome and features some fantastic artists. Â Be sure to check out their chopper shop next door and don't be afraid to have them ink you with something other than flash. Â In fact, I need to schedule my touch-up!
A+++
(I've been getting work done here for over 10 years)
Also, say what's up to Tim.
