I got my first tattoo there today done by Taylor Anne. She was amazing, very nice and personable. She explained everything step by step and made me feel very comfortable her station was very clean and sanitary as well as the whole store. It's not like any tattoo parlor I have ever been in. Taylor did an absolutely amazing job I couldn't be happier with my tattoo. If I decide to get more I will defiantly be going back to her couldn't have been better (:

This place is great! From the moment I spoke to them on the phone to leaving the shop.

Taylor was great! Great personality and helped me create a great tattoo. Mine is small and simple so there wasn't much to it but Taylor acted the same as if I was getting a giant masterpiece.

She spoke to me the whole way through. Before, process, during, after care, etc. Instruments are sterile and shop is nice, organized, and super clean! She even gave me her personal info in case I have any questions!

Even though I was only there for a short amount of time, and my tattoo was small, sweet and simple they were fantastic! My girlfriend and I plan to get one together after we reach our "weight loss goal"! This will most certinatly be the place we come!

In a week, I was at the shop 3 times... myself, my brother, and husband  all got tattoos in the same week because of how pleased I was with simply the "energy" from walking in... I was referred by 2 different people from 2 different parts of my world.... and Mystic Owl was HIGHLY recommended. I contacted Mike directly via email... he quickly replied, providing feedback and very detailed information about his self and the shop. While my brother was in town, I took him to Mystic Owl where he immediately felt "right" about the shop - he got his first tattoo and possibly fell a little in love with Taylor-Ann :) (who is absolutely amazing as well!)..2 days later I came and saw Mike, so nice, professional (yes! didn't know that existed in a tattoo atmosphere) I told him what I wanted.. he said ok give me a few minutes to draw something up.. came back with my vision in his hand! I left there with A LOT more than I had expected... he went above and beyond! On the way home, I stop at the store and was approached by multiple people to ask about where I got my tattoo (this is how amazing this art was!).... only 2 days later.. my husband was on the table with Dr. Mike :) and loved every moment of it (Ha!). As crazy as it sounds... In just the few times I have been at Mystic Owl, I feel like I'm family. I love it! I've never been one for piercing.. but only because I'd love another reason to hang out... I'm considering coming back to have Tara (Owner) pierce something for me :)

Thank You Vince, Mike, Tara, Taylor-Ann, Jace.... (sorry if I missed half the group but this is everyone that was part of my experience) for making my latest tattoo session the experience it should be!

First off, this is not a tattoo shop where you walk in and death metal is blasting and there is some ding-dong at the counter quoting your tattoo needs. You also won't have to walk past a bunch of guys outside smoking and "sizing you up" as you walk in. This is a place where you will feel completely comfortable and you would be glad to have your mother come and visit (yeah, I'm a mommas boy"). This breaks the mold of any other tattoo studio in Atlanta, and thats a good thing.

The artists will talk to you one on one about your wants/needs and help you decide what works and what doesn't. If its a bad idea, they most likely won't do it. Thats what kind of people you are dealing with. They would much  rather give you the best, than make a buck. If you've ever heard the term "quality over quantity", this is a perfect example.

You also won't see one piece of flash on the walls. Not much to say here.

You walk in and notice that the studio is CLEAN. You won't find a spot of dirt anywhere. Again, this isn't your local tattoo shop. You can judge a book by its cover here. You can rest assured that you are in a sanitary environment to get a tattoo.

The artist's at Mystic Owl are not only friendly, but understand what you want and how to translate that onto your skin. I've been tattooed by most of the artists there and I can tell you that they are pro's. Even their youngest and least experienced artist is better than most "pros" out there. My wife and I have both been tattooed by Taylor and can't be happier with the results. Where else can you say that?

I'm currently being tattooed by Vince and can tell you that he is not only the best, but he is a super cool and all around nice guy. He's not going to let you get a bad tattoo, period. His work is simply amazing and you WILL NOT get a tattoo anywhere that looks anything like his. He's like a Dali of the tattoo needle. I'm in the process of getting a family memorial tattoo by Vince and there is absolutely no doubt the finished product is going to be better than I imagine. Just google his work and you'll know that I'm talking about.

If you're looking for a first tattoo or are tired of going to your "typical" tattoo parlor, come here and see what I'm talking about. You won't be disappointed and you'll have a piece of art that you can wear proudly forever.

Where to begin?  I contacted Vince about a memorial piece back in January - less than a month after my Grandmother passed away when emotions were still high and raw.  We communicated through his website working out initial design ideas.  I never had to wait more than 12 hours for a response from him or someone on his team.

We finally were able to coordinate our schedules for early September.  Upon walking into the shop for the first time   I was immediately impressed by how clean it was.  I have seriously NEVER walked into a cleaner tattoo shop than this one.  It sparkles.  There wasn't a streak of dirt to be found, no cobwebs, no nastiness on the baseboards.  .

Everyone was incredibly friendly which was also unusual for a shop like this.  Many other shops can feel intimidating to walk into - not Mystic Owl.  I was greeted warmly by Tara and the other artists as well.  They immediately made me feel comfortable and what little nerves I was feeling dissolved away into nothing but excitement.

Vince came out and showed me his sketch and I was blown away.  It was bigger than I was planning on getting, but after looking at the sketch itself I realized that through our conversations Vince had really understood the concept of what I was going for with this piece - how much it means to me as a memorial piece and he had gone above and beyond what I was expecting.  I was stoked and ready to go.

I knew going in that this was going to be my biggest piece thus far.  I guess it can be considered almost a half sleeve since it extends from my back and behind my arm, over the cap of my shoulder and down almost to my elbow.  I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sit long enough but Vince was incredibly gentle, made sure that I was comfortable and didn't work in one spot for so long that it became unbearable.

I'm thrilled to death with this piece, with the way I was treated at Mystic Owl and the entire experience.  I can't wait to go back to get started on color!

Vince did another great piece for me a while back so when I wanted to get a sleeve I returned to one of the best in the biz and he hasn't disappointed. He took a lot of time to redraw and make changes to the design at my request before starting on it. He was genuinely cool about it and I really appreciate his patience and attention to his craft. Aside from that, he's a really great artist who really understands composition and placement of various elements in a design, definitely top notch.

As Jim pointed out, the shop is clean and professional. I'm familiar with a couple of the other artists there from their work at a previous shop and they're very good as well. If you want a well designed and drawn custom tattoo, I highly recommend Vince and the other artists at Mystic Owl.

The shop experience is as spectacular as the work provided at Mystic Owl. I traveled to Georgia from New York City to be tattooed by Vince. I cannot give a high enough recommendation to anyone considering having work done at the shop. From the appointment setup, to accommodations for travel, to shop environment, to the friendly manner and professionalism of everyone on staff, the folks at Mystic Owl were so helpful and made the entire experience and expense both memorable and worthwhile. I could not be happier with the progress of my tattoo. Vince has amazing vision and skill to execute. His light hand made the healing process a breeze which has not always been my experience with other tattooers. I plan to continue working with the artists at Mystic Owl for future pieces, they are absolutely some of the best.

Vince is one hell of an artist; and he has the awards hanging on the shop walls to prove it.

This shop is clean and orderly; and the staff is professional and friendly.

Vince works with you to make sure he captures the outcome you are looking for.  Raiden is also a talented artist and will work with you.  Give them an idea and they can run with it; and I bet it will at least meet if not exceed your expectations.

You'll need an appointment to get in to see Vince, so be sure to plan ahead.  Sometimes the other artists have openings you can jump in on.

I would consider returning when I decide to get my next tattoo.

    Thanks guys.
