New Moon Tattoo

Although my tattoo is alright, My experience at New Moon was pretty horrible. The tattooer Travis I believe is his name (cant really remember because he didnt give 2 sh**'s to talk to us) was extremely rude, as was the piercer that worked there. First of all when I showed him the picture I wanted from google, he copied and pasted into a word document, printed it and traced it for my tattoo. As I was expecting him to add some flare and spice it up, I got noting. As he traced he proceeded to tell me how ridiculous my idea was and it just would never work but "whatever I'll do it I guess." After feeling completely embarrased and put down I let him put the traced google image on my arm. Even the angle I wanted was "wrong but...ok". Horrible experience, don't go there!

I have been on the tattoo end and the piercing end of this establishment.
In 2010 I came to New Moon to get a Spiral piercing (which requires specific measurement for the piercing) because they were the only guys in town that did it. Not only was he rude, but he had a cold and didn't wash his hands after taking his gloves off--simply unsanitary procedures. After having lots of issues with healing for the first 3 months, I went to four separate piercers who all told me the same thing: the two holes (measured by Wade, at New Moon) were too far apart of the earring, and my ear was having a hard time healing because of it. Eventually it did heal, but one of the screws fell out. When I called Wade to order another spiral, he said he would have one for me the next time I came into the shop (I lived out of town at the time), but when I arrived, he had sold it to someone else. I have since taken out my spiral, and because of the misplacement of the holes, my ear looks funny.
When I had come to get my spiral from Wade after reordering it, I had made an appointment with one of the tattoo artists at the shop to kill two birds with one stone while I was in town. This guy also had a huge attitude, no conversation skills once getting tattooed, and acted like he couldn't wait for me to leave. This lead to a really disappointing experience for me all around. I would really do research before getting these services done. This place should be your last resort.

Extremely clean, great service, and awesome art!  Went in to have my tattoo updated after 12 years.  Not only did they update it but they made it look better than when I originally had it done!  Love Devon's work and would totally go back again!
