We've been wanting to get a tattoo but never really made any effort to make it happen so when we got the chance, we took it and ran with it! Â I started yelping to find tattoo places with best recommendations. We picked the closest and proceeded, we got turned down for various bs reasons. "We have a minimum of $80 and the artist is busy." Or "We don't tatt on any part of the body that is visible unless you already have a few." Huh?!?! Yeah. That's what we got.
Almost loosing hope, we decided to go to one more shop. We found this shop and immediately we felt more at ease. There were 4 artists in the shop working on their designs but all initiated an interaction with all of us. Very talented and down to earth artists! Let's just say, originally there was only one that wanted a tattoo that very same day-but all 3 of us ended up getting tattoos!
Went from shop to shop continuing to be shut down for wanting a white tattoo. However Nick told me he would do his best to make me happy and stick it in there good.... he was very nice and made me comfortable and even took the same to prepare different sizes for me the day before our appt. So far I love it but it is still healing! I would definitley recommend Nick for anyone who is nervous or wants something out of the box!
Review Source:Very cool shop. My artist recently started working here and like a cool, loyal client, I followed her because I know a Rad artist when I see one. She goes by Goonies and its the third time she's tattooed me. The other artists were cool as well, normal shop talk, talking smack, art, music...it was great. Very clean, awesome decor and very easy to locate.
Review Source:I stumbled upon this shop randomly over a year ago, and I have not gone anywhere else for my ink. Paul Reza is a genius. He takes your idea and works it into a one of a kind piece of art. He is precise and fast, and his shading is ridiculously clean.
This shop is located in Old Towne Orange and is a small but rad shop. All of the artists working here have stellar personalities and are very open to walk ins and new clients. Tim Sauter and Eric Lovato are also on my list for future pieces.
They stand by their motto of "Tattoos done right, the first time."
Look no further, for you have found the perfect tattoo shop.
i found you guys on instagram and was instantly impressed with all of your artist work. it was really hard for me to choose who i wanted to do my work. i got in contact with Eric Lavatto and fell in love with his work. needless to say i was in there the very next day and couldnt be happier with the end results. see you guys again in a few weeks to do work work on my sleeve...... thanks again Eric
Review Source:One of my friends recommended me OTTP, and told me to specifically ask for Paul Reza. My over-the-phone convo w/ Paul was very professional and when I asked him about a quote, he said he didn't like doing quotes over the phone simply b/c it's better to see him in-person, tell him exactly what you want, how big, and he can give you an exact price. I did just that, and took in 3 pictures that I wanted him to "warp" together. Now, let me tell you, Paul is what I consider to be a visionary artist. I told him I wanted an outline of the state of California, along w/ the bear from the flag, a beach setting, and my favorite baseball team, The Angels. So, I gave him 3 photos, and he took the ideas off of those 3, and made ONE ORIGINAL PIECE! Never have I ever gotten so many compliments for this work of art.Trust me, you will NOT find anything like it anywhere else. **Perhaps similar ideas, but not this specific piece**
Paul doesn't try to hustle you for your money. He works in an adequate amount of time and doesn't try to prolong the process. He's fast and precise. The staff there is really friendly, and very professional. People would come in and be treated like long time friends. My work was done in 2 sittings, and by my second time around, I felt quite comfortable w/ going there. Base total price of the artwork was $400 incl. a $40 depo. but not incl. what I tipped. I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone wanting to get a tattoo done right, the first time. I'm a strong believer in "You get what you pay for", and in this case, I got MORE than what I paid for. I can't wait to go back and get another one started...
I was so nervous to get my first tattoo because I knew EXACTLY what I wanted and I didn't want anything less than amazing when I stepped into that shop. And luckily, Aaron Cox blew my mind with what he drew for me.
The ghetto shop did not calm my nerves and the almost fight that happened outside... (two homeless man messing with one of the workers car), but once I saw the sketch, I was as calm as can be. Aaron was amazing, he talked the whole time, made me laugh, and took his time.
I would seriously rate this place a 1 star for the location, but I honestly cannot seem to give this any less stars because Aaron is that amazing with his work.
I've gotten so many compliments from this tattoo and I cannot even begin to express the joy I have when I look at this tattoo. I've had this tat for 6 months now and I'm already ready to go and get more from him.
Just had my first tattoo done by Aaron Cox at Old Towne and can't say enough positive things about my experience! Aaron was such a nice guy and an amazing tattoo artist! He was able to translate my ideas into a perfect piece. I've run into other tattoo artists since I got my ink and they all compliment me on the piece, some even acknowledging they know of Aaron and his superb work!
Place looks slightly shady and old from the outside, but it's very clean inside and the guys are super professional, friendly, and patient there. I'd go back any day!
