I got a bunch of work done by Matt N. (MGN) including the back of my neck, behind my ear, and a quarter sleeve. I'm happy with pretty much all of it. I gave him a design for my sleeve which I wanted to copy basically, but he didn't really pay attention to it, and just made his own rose pattern for me. Which came out nice, I get a lot of compliments, but years later I wish I wouldn't have gone with it. In the future I want to get it updated with more depth, colors and add more flowers. I'm not the biggest fan of traditional tatts and this is what it looks like.
The other Matt did lyrics on my back. They look good except for one letter which confuses people sometimes as you can't read "tune" very well. Meh. I will probably get something done to it one day. The shop owner Eric is an amazing artist specializing in "traditional" style tattoos. If that's your thing, definitely check him out. He's done a lot of work on people I know which all looks great.
