I went in asking for a simple 15 minute tattoo. One artist drew it up and helped me out, I thought things were good. Than a guy walked in and was taking to get his tattoo before me. I WAITED AN HOUR! The artist than came out and told me the guy just got tattoos on his hands and couldn't get up so he did not have time to do my tattoo that night. it was 11:30... the shop closed at 12!!!! This place is very unprofessional.
Review Source:I'm a picky person. I have certain standards that I hold people to and it isn't very often that I can say that they achieve the level that I expect of them, however that happened here. I went in to see Mason for a tattoo that is near and dear to my heart. I have a lot of tattoos so I'm not one of those "omg lets go get BFF tattoos" on a whim types, not that there is anything wrong that, its just not me.
It is a tattoo business and take it from someone who has been getting tattoos for a long time.. you will wait. If you don't have a wait you are either the first appt of the day or you are darn lucky!
My wait was short.
My tattoo was more than worth it. It is exactly what I wanted and then some. I love love love love (I think you get the point) love it. It is already plastered all over my facebook and been sent as text messages to all of my friends.
It is really awesome when someone gets your vision and translates that for you. Â Mason did exactly that and exceeded my expectations.
I called ahead of time before coming in to make sure that they weren't too busy and told me to come in. When I got there I was told to come back in 45 minutes and did but then waited another 20 minutes after coming back. I got a tattoo retouched and a new one. The guy who's name I can't remember :'( did an awesome job and even set up a special table at the right height for him to work on my wrists. The price was very reasonable and he did a good job, showing me a whole bunch of fonts and ultimately just trying to match the font of my new tattoo with the old one. The ink stayed and I haven't had to get it retouched. I went back there to buy a ball for my tongue ring (I didn't get my tongue pierced there) and they were extremely gracious and nice and helped me put it in and gave it to me for free. :D You know I love nice and free. All in all a great tattoo shop and my second brief experience there made up for the long wait the first time.
