I am now on my 3rd large tattoo by Paper Crane.  These guys are really good, friendly and fun.  I loved the collaboration (I like to think I'm creative sometimes) and am super happy with the work!

I've gotten two chest pieces done by Mikey and have to say that both were the best tattoo experiences I've ever had.  The setting is professional and comfortable with nothing but good attitudes and friendliness from the staff.  This is the only studio I will go to for future work and the only studio I go out of my way to recommend.

I have been tattooed twice at paper crane and both experiences and artwork has been stellar. First, by far the friendliest environment I've ever been tattooed in. The artist are all talented in their distinctive styles but no boastful attitude I've experienced in other shops. My first tat was a pair of roses on my hands by Mikey the owner, the roses are gorgeous but what was phenomenal was that he went behind text I already had on my hands and made it look like it had been done at the same time. Last night I had work done by Tan Vo the shop's intern. Now let me emphasize and make it clear to not be fooled by the term intern as it merely a title is his commitment of becoming a master artist.  Tan is far from a beginner his work rivals those of many "professional" artist whose work I've seen or have myself. I've been tattooed at many shops including port city and outer limits both here in the LB but paper crane has gained my business because their talent is only a fraction of the amazing experience you'll have here. Mikey Vigilante is a master and worth every single penny for his work, catch him now because I'm convinced he's charging too little. As for Tan he's not there to do cheap tattoos, he's working at his level of expertise and its damn good so consider getting a tat from him more like a great deal.

    Great artist!

Mister Michael Marsh. What can I say?
A friend and I walked in after lunch, seeing this studio randomly. Decided to take a look inside and was very pleasantly surprised! I was greeted quickly, and after expressing what I was interested in, was taken to the back to see what he was currently working on. I immediately recognized peony flowers and knew it was meant to be.

After deciding that his artwork was amazing, and I most definitely wanted it on my body, I told him what I was interested in. He drafted up a design and tattooed both of my friend and I in what seemed like record time. Friendly, comfortable, knowledgeable, and even the ceiling was interesting to look at.

I will be going back to see him again soon for more!
