Patty's Art Spot

I got my R2D2 tattoo with Cory Phillips. He was super nice, he made a unique design for me and I really love it. I went all the way from Maryland to Morgantown, WV to get him tattoo me cause I really like his work and also cause he understands my obsession with Star Wars, since he is a big fan as well.

I would totally recommend getting a tattoo with Cory, he is super cool, and a great artist. The environment of the shop is very pleasant, I felt super comfortable besides the pain, and the time went by fast. And he also gave me 3 Star Wars action figures, how cool is that?! :)

I also loved all the art work in the shop.

Patty did my first tattoo in 1995 and I went back in 2010 to have it reworked.  She is a world class artist!  I live in San Francisco now, and have recently wanted some new art - but finding someone as talented as The Mistress of Pain is nearly impossible.  She's well worth the wait!  Originally she did a butterfly on my back, and I had her put an Egyptian blue lotus (water lily) under it.  I love it so much!  It's so vivid and colorful - and most of all - it's realistic!  She is so talented!!  Honestly, I'm not sure I can have anyone else work on me, ever.  I'll have to come back to WV for my tattoo fix.

Craig and Patty, the main artists at Patty's Art Spot own the shop and are both really friendly, great people.

I got my 6th tattoo at Patty's Art Spot with Craig.  He used to work at Thinkin' Ink on the downtown campus and he had done a couple tattoos on my friends so I trusted him to do my piece.  I was reallllllllllllllllllly impressed with my tattoo and he was extremely professional.  Everything went smoothly and the prices are great. I would recommend both Patty and Craig to anyone looking to get a tattoo in Morgantown.

The shop is super clean with great original artwork on the walls. They are both really happy to work with you on your design and open to different ideas.  The other people working at the shop are also very nice. The whole environment is a great one. Charlie is really funny. I love this place and can't wait to be back in the area to get another one!!
