DO NOT GET A TATTOO HERE. I had a few tattoos here and some elsewhere, I notice that the ink turns green within a year, its supposed to stay dark..

One time I came in for a quote the wife and husband team tried to jack up the price. I asked the lady she said "i don't know let me ask my husband" they speak in Chinese but I know it's a front, then she said he said it was too small. However, I saw a really intricate Aztec maze tattoo done on the wall, therefore, i know it was nonsense the tattoo is too small. Also, I had a bar-code done by him the previous year, now that's small. Pricing is way off. They charge $20 per word, not even by how detailed it is.

NOT STERILE NEEDLES. Needs are supposed to be thrown away by law, he's putting a needle in you that was put into someone else. He uses an ultrasonic machine to clean the needles, but according to my latest artist, he said those are not reliable.

I'm Asian myself, I know how Chinese does business, they try to maximize profit, and sell you a lemon.

As for his work, I will say he can do the job you need him to do. I am not attempting to say to be biased and say he's not a great artist, he is, but you will risk your life getting a tattoo here.

Got my first 2 tattoos done by peter. His wife seemed a bit rude. I asked a few questions , and her face immediateley changed, and she had a horrible attitude. Peter, on the other hand, was quite nice. He kinda rushed through my tattoos, so I didnt like how they came out. I think peter is a nice guy, but Im not ever.going back, nor recommending him to anyone.

I got my first tattoo here. Peter and Amy was extremely nice and help me choose the right font for my tattoo. Their price is great. My friend ended getting one too. Will definitely come back for more. Peter is very gentle with the needle so I was happy it didn't hurt as bad I thought.

Just got a tattoo this evening. Peter n Amy both r super friendly and helpful. Peter did  the same tattoo in half the price asked by Inkies, Fremont. Place was small but clean. They explained me all details. This is my 1st tattoo and I am glad I got it from here. A must visit place for people who don't want to shed extra money just because tattoo artist looks funky n has big space with hot gals.

Discovered this place on yelp, went for this due to the convenience of it being close to home, the ratings weren't bad and since my first piece doesn't require much effort.
I did not want to shell out $100 for something so small and simple.

    First tat, I got a star 1.5" x 1.5" for $50
It's not bad, but I think it could be better..it's plain and black but I'm meticulous so nothing is ever good enough.
Plus when I stretch it, I can tell it wasn't 100% straight, but like I said I'm meticulous.
Overall it's ok for the price.
I'll probably come back for just small pieces.
Their minimum is $20 so if you just want something small and simple, i recommend this place (:

Friend got a tat here after we went around trying to find a place that will do her tattoo for the affordable price and we ended up back here! ha ha
She got a huge piece on her front thigh and it turned out real nice! It wasn't too much details, just the outlines and such. All black, no fillings from what I remember and for the price of $100.

I got a tattoo done here today. It was my 3rd tattoo, but the first one done by Peter. I've got my other tattoos done by Billy from Twisted Illusions (on Tennyson) but upon finding out he doesn't work at the shop anymore, I decided to scope for a reputable one. I found this shop through yelp as well, and it was the only one around me that seems legit so I decided to opt for this. Needless to say, I was very satisfied with everything. I only got a small cross on the inside of my ankle. Though it's not a big piece, it was done pretty well. I walked into the store and told Amy what I wanted. I originally wanted a simple cross that consisted of two lines, just like a "+" (you get what I mean), but she suggested a different design that I liked even better. I told her I wanted it smaller and she pulled out sheets of paper that had the designs preprinted on them and was like bam! Here you go, a smaller one. But I still wanted a smaller version and then bam! She got another sheet of paper but at a reduced size. This was impressing, knowing that they have designs ready at hand at any size. Now onto the tattooing process. It was good, new needle, clean area, gentle hands. I was very satisfied with the process. Afterwards, they both told me aftercare instructions, and they repeatedly told me to wear high knee socks instead of ankle socks for two weeks. Like I mean REPEATEDLY. Peter would say it, then Amy then Peter, etc. I guess they really wanted me to take great care of my tattoo. They even provided me with a little pack of A&D ointment :). They have a minimum of $20, but I paid $30 for mine. It's still cheaper than what I would have paid at Twisted Illusions (minimum of $50). Don't get me wrong Twisted is still a great shop! Peter and Amy are very friendly and I will definitely be back for another tattoo! :]

Wow what a great little shop! The owner and his wife are super cool and the place is really clean.  Went there to get my sons name on my back and they understood exactly what I wanted and designed the perfect tatoo! Peter also covered up a horrible toe tattoo that I have hated since day one, I now have a wonderful koi fish that I have always wanted. Great artist and wonderful tattoo.  I am going back to have another tattoo covered up for sure!

if your the type of person who is into all that chinese and japanese artwork than this myt be the place to go 2 if not than i suggest u dont go because peter isnt that good at designs or prtraits of people. my mother-n-law went here to see the prices of a tattoo of a sort of bracelet around her arm and it was going to be semi small and amy was trying to charge her 140 and not to mention she was being really rude about my mother-n-laws thoughts. we tried going to secret sidewalk on mission and they charged my mother-n-law 100 and did way more decorations. it was all freehand nd didnt charge her extra. not to mention, she has a free lifetym warranty on her tattoo. so if here in 4 years it fades she can go get it redone for free!!! ever since that day i go to secret sidewalk to get my tattoos. the parking is crappy ass hell. its in a narrow  lil alley and its hard to come out because its on a busy street. the area inside is the same. amy is rude as hell and peter acts careless and looks like he doesnt care about the tattoo but the money

Out of my 4 tats, I got 3 done here and they do wonderful work. My 3 tats and my  4th tat look the same quality even though done at two different places. Im planning on going to Peters for my next tat sometimes in two weeks. They are decently priced compared to other tat shops and my nxt tat is less then half of what I was quoted at the place I got my 4th tat done.

    Good work,Nice people,Good prices. A must go!

I got 2 pieces of artwork done here.

My first one was my ex-boyfriend's name (huge mistake) on my back left shoulder. I was charged $30 bucks for it. It was small-medium sized. Peter had dug the needle so deep in my skin, that after 1.5 years, and after a huge cover-up over the name, my ex's name is still popping out of my skin.

Second piece done here was a dove with my sisters name (rest in peace), on my right arm. I was charged EIGHTY bucks for this dinky little tattoo, which the script (had to be freehand otherwise it was an extra $30), turned out crappy. Every other tattoo artists that I've been too had said the same thing, "It looks like shit." It's suppose to be my dead sister's name and a dove to symbolize "Heaven" and "Peace" and now I gotta get that detailed too. AND, this piece is also still popping out of my skin. Not cool.

I've gotten 3 tats from peter, one on each arm and a chest piece. All of them have been semi-custom work. My first tattoo was a dragon that i picked off of his book, i didn't like how the claw look, so he just did it freehand, second piece was a samurai i found on the internet..i didn't like how it looked from the waist down, so peter did some research to help finish the bottom half and then drew a whole new samurai, awesome job...and my chest piece was all peter, i told him what i wanted and he freehand it on my chest....

I've done a lot of research before coming here, went to countless tattoo parlors around hayward and oakland area...his price is very reasonable, and most important of all, it's a clean shop.

The place is a lil hard to find, and parking is not the greatest, you have to park on the side or the back of the tattoo shop. But the service is great, Peter caters to your need, he will tell you if it wont look rite, and Amy is a sweetheart.

Peter is AWESOME! I have gotten 10 tattoos from him, including two cover-ups. I have made the mistake of going to other shops while out of town a couple of times and I completely regret it. I have recommended Peter to several friends and I even took my little brother to him on his 18th birthday.  Everyone that I have recommended him to has been totally satisfied and excited about their wicked new art. Peter and his wife Amy always take the time to make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for, they will sketch things out as many times as needed. Peter's prices are also exceedingly reasonable. These are great people and I highly recommend their business.

My hubby and I went there to get some cover ups and I must say Peter did an awesome job. We found his shop to be small but very professional and most importantly clean. We got exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend to anyone who was thinking of getting some tattoo work done to go visit Peter and his wife Amy! We will definitely be returning clients.

The guy who I would assume is Peter is rude! He seemed annoyed when I asked him a question. Same thing when my husband asked him a question about covering up his tattoo. They also wanted to charge an obscene amount of money for a simple tattoo that I wanted. Plus, parking was stupid! You had to park in this narrow driveway and if someone came in after you then you're blocked off! I would NEVER come back to this place!

Took my friend Beth here for her tat recently. I wasn't on the receiving end so I can't speak to Peter's ability to sense pain thresholds but he did a nice job on Beth and I'd probably go there if I were allowed to get another.
