I went here to get my navel pierced. The two guys in the shop were very nice, but I won't be returning. Preface: I don't have a flat stomach. I'm not big, but do have padding on my stomach. Â But I'm thinking how hard could it be to do a navel piercing? Seems pretty straight forward, right?
The placement of the piercing was just all sorts of wrong, however I'll give two stars because I feel like part of that was my fault. He asked me if I wanted to look at it before he pierced it. I said no, it's ok, I trusted him. (I hadn't had my navel pierced in YEARS, I really don't think I would have known what to look for.) It was crooked (bottom ball not in line vertically with top one. not by much, but visible to myself and others), and the bottom ball was so deep inside my navel it looked as if my navel was eating the damn thing. I'm get that I'm no svelte broad, but it made my stomach look oddly bigger.
While the actual piercing was occurring, the guy turned it into a two-man situation. One did the piercing and the other was then assisting with screwing the top ball onto the jewelry..?!? When he was having a little bit of trouble the first man suggested he (the second guy) take his glove off (!!!!?!?!?). Thankfully he didn't, else he would have gotten a swift punch to the dick. But. Yeah. Yikes.
Great newly opened tattoo shop and extremely clean. Competitive prices and fantastic work. Ferni is a talented artist and very personable man. I would highly recommend Physical Grafitti to all my friends. Ferni has been tattooing for over 30 years. I will definitely return for more work. Stop in and pay him a visit.
